Obviously stolen because this needs to be shared

The best proof that we don't live in a simulation is that we haven't reverted to a save point.

Crazy that that tweet was before the worst of the last few years even started...

I need to go back to 2005 and fix a mistake that cost me 20yrs of my life, and was recently appealed.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Feels like something changed in 2018 (non political, like algos?) that shifted things like 2008, 2001, or COVID but its not talked about like the others.

The Machines just had to let Neil Patrick Harris make a new version of the Matrix...

2012, I was still Enlisted before my episode, and in a relationship practically built of red flags. I am very very glad to no longer be the person I deluded myself into being back then.

Oh yeah. If I get a do-over, I'm going on some sort of spree. I'm not living through this trash TWICE.

A business trip to NYC could save a whole lot of people a whole lot of trouble.

I would take many more screenshots and videos of things in my favourite online game, so when it's shut down years later, I won't need to search the internet for shreds of info for my hobby.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You have to save harambe.

Not far enough back to make a serious difference. 2000 would be the latest I'd go - a man passionate about climate change was within a hair's breadth of winning the White House, 9/11 hadn't yet driven the nation mad and sent it scrambling for authoritarians promising safety while delivering wars that killed hundreds of thousands, the news media hadn't completely given up investigative journalism in favor of access journalism. Realistically, even earlier would be better.

Nah what ya want is to go back 100,000 years and nuke anything trying to leave Africa on two legs. It's not 100% but if 100% is what you need then go back far enough to divert the comets that brought all the water so that earth stays a lifeless rock forever.

So it is worth noting that this is as old now as the time gap it originally suggested. I would say nobody to 2018, but the polls seem to contradict that notion.

I’ll be on the first plane to wohan and killing that lab

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

whoa, can we go further back, to like, the 80s?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hate to break it to you, but 2012 was already too late for Kanye.

Is this real? What happened to the carpet store? Who's kidneys are these?

Well, a good rug really ties the room together. But that's just my opinion.

And Harambe is alive and well.

Yes, please!

Unfortunately climate doom is still inevitable.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keep in mind that it was written in 2018. Dude had no idea what was coming.

People have been sounding the alarm about Trump since well before he took office, and once in office, he was doing awful shit constantly.

Pandemic aside, people knew.

2012 was the best year of my life and I had no idea at the time.

1 year ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 1

Worst for me ☹️

Same

2012 was the worst year of mine so how about 2013?

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Shoot, I'll take 2013. 2012 was a rough one for me too; I'm not sure I could do it a second time.

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

2010 was a great year for me. It's been up and down ever since. But mostly great still

thank you - I was just about to post the same! I think of this often, when the world gets worse. We had no idea how good we had it. What a weird 8 years!

No problem

Imagine being nostalgic for what's basically 5 minutes ago. Things weren't even better then, all the same problems of now existed, they were just slightly less bad. Christ.

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 10

Life is moving faster. I’m nostalgic for last week’s lunch. It was sooo good and work bought it. We watched 3 episodes of IT Crowd on the big screen in the team area at work. Remembering too far back anymore is dangerous, not nostalgic.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And he posted that in 2018. It's almost quaint.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Trump is within striking distance of winning again. Roe vs Wade is gone, and women are suffering because of it. Inflation has hit housing and food hard. We've made little progress on climate and are seeing more extreme weather events. Harambe was alive. Things are more than slightly less bad. Do I dream about going back? No. But things are definitely worse now than they were.

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

Yeah, slightly. Everything that lead to Trump was already happening, climate change was well under way, the US right wing was constantly attacking liberal freedoms.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

I never said they weren't happening. I said they are worse. I named specific things like Roe, that didn't have to happen without Trump winning, and other events like things like RBG dying on the bench. It's OK if you disagree that things aren't worse. But I and other people, think things are worse, more than slightly. Reasonable people can disagree. Thats OK.

Now go find that "grab em by the pussy" video and get it some air time. Idk if a relative nobody that knows the future can really change things, but man would I give it a go.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, if I could go back, I'd have just killed him. Like, give up my life, forfeit everything (and I've a pretty good life), leave my wife and kids with nothing, be labeled a murderer, life in prison or execution. All that just to ensure he doesn't exist any longer as of 2012? Sign me right tf up for that shit.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Remember that he did run in 2012. He didn't get the Republican nomination, but he was up there enough to have 24/7 security, even if it was private security.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I like and appreciate that you know exactly who tf I was referring to in my comment. Like, after seeing your comment, I re-read mine and was like "Holy Shit, people might think I meant Obama." Again, thank you.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, to your point, so.... I should go back further then? OK.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. I'd like to open a self-directed Roth IRA. Here is my $2000 in BitCoin.

Go ahead and buy enough of Twitters stock so that Elon has to ask you to sell so he can buy it.

I could easily make enough money with my current knowledge of historic time and sales on stocks and Bitcoin to change the history of the United States. Send me back and you will get Bernie 2016

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Change the stocks, change the wealth.

Change the wealth, change what the stocks do.

Your knowledge lasts only for as long as you don't get involved. The moment you change the variables, you change the results. You get ONE, beyond that, you're on your own.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Tbf with Bitcoin you only need to hit one of the spikes and you could walk away with millions. Is that enough to change the country? Probably not

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, but now imagine you were into bitcoin in 2012 and you're a disabled adult and the only reason you didn't invest into it and mining it is that the person you're a dependent of threatened to make you homeless if you did

Anyway, hi, I'm not living a happy life. I'm alive, but it's not a happy life.

Except this cycle generates from a new seed and the stupid nonsense currency that blows up this time is called DigiDollZ. It's virtual dollars that have little chibi-avatars that grow your investment when you raise them in the digiverse like Tamagachi. It is all inevitably connected to pedo-porn because it turns out we are not actually living in the worst possible simulation yet and we can get so much more deranged.

1 year ago | Likes 106 Dislikes 4

Sooooo Gaia Online?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Digital currency earned through computational busywork and connected to black market CSAM? I don't know why you think that's any worse or more deranged than bitcoin, you're literally just describing bitcoin + a minigame.

Bro never heard about Monero. Which is technically what all the cool criminals prefer due to its massive suit of anonymity features that make it basically impossible to track funds.

If you go into a split timeline you need to pay attention to what's changed, not what has stayed the same.
