This little girl was found in a barn alone. She was ridden with fleas, I was up all night washing her down, picking them out and trying to make her feel comfortable. Imgur meet yvie

Edit : no way front page ♥️♥️ yes I meant riddled not ridden I failed English 11 :/lol. I took her to the vet this morning for first round of shots plus dewormer and de flea. As well as some blood tests so that I can sleep at night. She’s my second kitty and already the light of my life. Dm for pics and videos (of cat not nudes) also love to receive pics of your furr babies. big or small I love em all ;)

pro-tip dawn dish soap kills fleas super fast. Begin the bath by making a soap ring around her neck so they can't escape to her head.

That adorable face is worth every care, and looking at it is its own reward

I think you mean riddled with fleas, but I guess the fleas were going for a ride also. Anyway, she's a pretty kitty. You're a good person.

Gonna do a lot of "don't eat that! Did you just eat that ?! OMG WHYY!" in either case

Those eye markings are fucking legit.

The vet told us to use dawn dish soap to get rid of fleas! Works great! Congrats on purrenthood!!

ITS LITTLE PAWS ?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Close. Next step is limiting social plans because you don't want to be away from her too long

Actually ridden with fleas, or alternatively flea-ridden, are perfectly fine to say. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ridden

Proud of you human.

I can’t even pronounce her name but I am in love with her already

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Like Evie but with a short hard Y-sound you do not use that often in english, as in "Styx" or "asphyxiation."

So, like Eevee? As in the Pokemon character?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I checked on youtube how they pronounce Eevee, and yes, that sounds quite like what i meant. I might be wrong though.

I see. Thx for the explanation

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I KNEW IT yes sis we stan yvie

I’m deaaaaaaad

I'd recommend some actual flea/tick stuff since they can seemingly reappear out of nowhere. Otherwise, yes. Congrats on your new baby!

Only the veterinarians stuff. Do NOT use that crap in the stores. But you know this already

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And vacuum, a *lot*. If you do wash her down, lather the neck thoroughly first or they'll climb over her head to escape the bathwater.

Please be careful with what medication you use. Pyrethrin is easily neurotoxic to cats, even in seemingly small doses.

6 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Tea tree oil is super toxic too, if you use flea control products, get them from the vet.

Took her to the vet this morning for first round of shots de worm and de flea :) thank you !

1. @OP they’re a little expensive, but I suggest a sorresto flea collar. My boyfriend’s 3 cats had absolutely 0 fleas with a good bath and

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2. then the collars. His roommate’s flea covered cat didn’t even spread to them. Also allows them to be on our screened patio w/no worries.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Amazing thank you for the advice!!! Definitely gonna look into that

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You’re welcome! It works like a dream, I won’t use any other flea/tick now.
