There is an extra comic. I thought he hung himself
IntangibleNudist
Hanged* (if he hung himself he woulda stretched out his dong)
Zephronias
My question is, based on how the law had traditionally favored mothers over fathers in custody battles, would Jim stand a chance of getting>
Zephronias
< custody if the kid isn't his, despite raising him? Jim would probably be fine in the rest of the divorce (because of the adultery).
tibbs3d
I don't think custody battles necessarily have to do with a cheating parent. It can be used to show poor character, but it's more about 1/2
tibbs3d
How the adults treat the kid. Also this kid seems close to old enough to choose custody (14 iirc) so at that point it's somewhat irrelevant
peachesforme
If he was married to her at the time regardless of it being biologically his it would give him equal parentage. Got a friend in a sitation1
peachesforme
like that but he loves the kid so it doesn't matter. 2
Zephronias
Thanks for the answer! That's one of those things I've always wondered about court/custody cases.
peachesforme
It was a more major thing in the past with fertility issues. Wanting to give the father rights to children he is raising in the case they 1
peachesforme
might have needed donor sperm. Also that whole for the good of the kids to protect the family and such that some people focus on lol 2
