Yeah, nah...

The weight of his balls dragging him through that cave.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Isn’t that like literally the opposite of what you are supposed to do?

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That looks like a good way to get nutty putty'd.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No, thanks.

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm assuming the fisheye lens makes this look way, way worse than it actually is... still a hard no

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What in 8 shades of fuck would make you do that? On skis?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What the fuck don't do that

Reckless.

This seems remarkably stupid. Darwin Award potential.

Quick question. WHAT IN THE EVER LOVING EMPIRE STRIKES BACK FROZEN DEATH MADE YOU THINK YOU SHOULD DO THIS?!

6 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

You go first

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm really confused about your height watching this

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Putting the "nutty" in "nutty putty".

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

who the hell finds out you can get through in the first place?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd try it.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The best part about this activity is that you don't have to do it

6 months ago | Likes 568 Dislikes 0

Those words were just making it out of my brain and into my mouth just as I read this.

6 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

This seems unsafe.

6 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but that's just because it is.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It seems that way, but in actuality it's monumentally unsafe.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

A glacier can shift at any time. Don't play under them.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A friendly reminder that snow and ice are not solid but flow, and will shift whenever Odin feels like it.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 1

Exactly. This seems like a good way to get unalived.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have no desire for my death to serve as a warning to others, thanks.

Sad story, I can't imagine the fear he would have felt.

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's the exact image I was thinking of while watching this.

Nutty Putty Cave, I'm assuming?

(For those who don't know, but would like to introduce a new and exciting brand of nightmare into their lives: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutty_Putty_Cave#Death_of_John_Edward_Jones_and_closure_of_the_cave )

bring a spool of string so they can dig you out

6 months ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 1

Even small avalanches break steel cables, strings are not really going to be sufficient

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

fine, a streaming bottle of ink, or strawberry syrup so they can follow the sno-cone to your frozen ass 🍧

6 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Ok, but why bother? Goven climate trends its going to melt eventually and their lame ass will be much easier to access.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Your frozen corpse anyway.

6 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

maybe they dig fast

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm very certain if i tried that there wouldn't be a bottom hole.

6 months ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Even if someone did it yesterday and there is still a big hole at the bottom, no guarantee the ice and snow haven’t shifted somewhere inside and now it’s blocked off

6 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I really hope they do some kind of test first…. Maybe drop a bucket of bouncy balls?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

drr drr drr...

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There are tracks down there so it's a tested hole.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Leave my mother out of it.

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Gotcher bottom hole right here.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that's usually my line.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, that's why I got my community standards violation notice earlier today.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fine! Keep yer luscious butthole to yourself. Bet it tastes like regular skin anyway.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That just looks like there's a high chance to die a very slow and horrible death.

6 months ago | Likes 269 Dislikes 0

best part. you try becauae "dude, trust me". You are buying in to some moron promising you'll be safe

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That's because there is. Crevasses are incredibly dangerous. Imagine falling into a 50 foot canyon that gets narrower until you're wedged at the bottom and every time you exhale you go a little deeper till you can no longer breath. Stuff of nightmares.

6 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

This is my hole! It was made for me!

6 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

What’s crazy is there are rescue alert devices and yet some people will still just go without them on solo skis and hope for the best.

I’ve seen too many videos of people getting swallowed up and just by luck someone found them.

Nah. I’d have that rescue alert if I was soloing these deep snow areas.

6 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

If you can't afford the alert gizmo then you can't afford to solo ski. Same with solo hiking.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What about solo sex?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ever since I heard about the Nutty Putty cave incident, I swore to myself I would never find myself in tight spaces like these.

6 months ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

It's so horrible and yet I can't help but snort and think "imagine dying in a place called Nutty Putty cave"

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or that one where the snowboarder got stuck upside down from falling into a snow well. https://www.adventuresnw.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/TreeWells-799x1024.jpg

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Oh that wasn't fun to watch at all.

6 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I have to assume they tested this in some way before somebody actually went into it

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think someone fell in, and discovered, by luck, there is an exit and it can be done again.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You don’t actually have to assume that. I think we both HOPE so, but there’s a low chance they test it

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Doesn't actually matter. Even if your friend just went through 30 seconds ago, a tiny shift in the snow might mean it's blocked now.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can see the ski tracks indicating it wasn't the first time someone went through.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That only indicates someone went *in* though…

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You do see them at the end going out.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I know, I watched the whole thing. But if you encounter such an opening, seeing marks of someone going in still only tells you just that – someone went in.
They aren't a guarantee for the existence of an exit, or of an exit you can get to and through uninjured.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe they sent a squirrel on skis
