Walking during a marathon

Lately I haven't been feeling motivated to create anything. And by lately I mean for the past few years. I used to get super excited to go out and film something but that passion has started to dwindle. Everyday I just work, eat dinner and then watch TV or scroll through my phone feeling guilty when I see other people making cool content.

So in an attempt to start creating more again I made this dump to show myself I still have it in me and I shouldn't give up. The following are designs and videos I've made throughout highschool and college.

Top video is part of a music video I made about a girl who goes crazy.

Song: Crazy by Gnarls Barkley
Full video: https://youtu.be/FeZbiqMafR4

This was my first time working with Adobe's 3D modeling program called Adobe dimension.

Timelapse of big lake, Oregon.

Song: Flowers by The Deli

I almost crashed my drone into the Portland sign but this turned out to be one of the coolest shots.

Song: My go away dream by Not the King

Rotoscoping Paul rudd in after effects. Frame by frame. Very tedious. I commend anyone who rotoscopes.

Song: Don't stop me now by Queen

Mean girls edit I made during the beginning of Covid.

My graduation video.

Song: Bang! By AJR

Manually flying my drone over the Széchenyi chain bridge in Budapest, Hungary.

Song: Hell N Back by Bakar

An intro video for my cooking channel.

Song: This Is Not A Love Song by Nouvelle Vague

Széchenyi chain bridge again. Can you tell it's my favorite bridge?

This was one of my first videos I made in after effects. I was so excited, I spent months making it only to have YouTube and Instagram block it worldwide and I got a copyright strike and almost lost my YouTube account. Never did that again.

Song: DNCE - Toothbrush

A video I made for my dad. He loves to bike to work. This was when everyone started working from home during the beginning of Covid.

Yes he has a ponytail. He is also bald.

Song: Roses by Jordan Elgie

Plastic perspective - a video about how we're all connected. Here's the full video: https://itsmoni.com/motion-graphics it got cut off.

Song: I dunno by Grapes

This was a VR house I built in Unity with audio linked to an object to show spatial awareness.

Song: Elephant by Tame Impala

That time I got my braces off and thought it would be funny to make a video about it.

Song: Sexy Silk by Jessie J

Centriphone test - Used an old GoPro 3 attached to a hanger and fishing wire. Swung it around my head and slowed down the footage.

I really want to recreate this with my insta360 the quality would be way better than what I had 6 years ago.

Song: Nightmares by Easy Life (my favorite song)

One of the first animations I made in Maya.

A photo I took of the eclipse in Oregon a few years ago. This is one of my favorite photos.

I just really love this Newport bridge. It was right after all the fireworks on 4th of July.

Messing around with light and editing to sound.

Song: Out Of My Mind by Jamie Berry.

Timelapse of clouds.

Song: Canals by Joakim Karud

Dancing in the moonlight.

Song: Dancing in the moonlight by Toploader

I'm a diehard Zoolander fan. I made this when for the second Zoolander release.

And Seth Rogan fan.

I designed this in high school. It's a famous doughnut shop in Portland called VooDoo Doughnuts. I may or may not have had a slight obsession with their doughnuts. I ended up meeting the owner and giving it to them. They loved it and hung it up in their store. I think it's in their Universal Studios shop now.

This was a fan poster I made for my favorite band Chef'Special. The menu is all their top songs. After the concert I waited outside and ended up meeting them. They loved it and I felt like I was on cloud 9.

This was my high school senior photo. It's probably my favorite photo. Cica (fatty in the bowtie) passed away years ago but looking at this photo brings me so much joy.

This photoshop edit is very humbling. It looks like shit but at the time I thought this was the coolest thing I ever made. I was 14 taking my first graphic design class and had finally figured out how to use the clone stamp to erase things. It was at that moment everything clicked and I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. I went on to teach myself illustrator, premiere pro and after effects. I got my degree in digital communication arts and now I work as a graphic designer and marketing specialist.

FP edit: Thank you for all your support! I've read every comment and you guys are all so amazing. Imgur is so nice.

A few people asked if I had a playlist. This is my main liked songs playlist. There's a lot of variety haha. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3yNQVdcxpEwE5eujcfmo4I?si=PUvqGraARMK5DA_omwdeXw&utm_source=copy-link

You’re talented, adulting sucks specially if you have a passion and can’t actively nourish it. The monotony of everyday life is draining

As a Hungarian just let you it's not Széchenyi bridge, it's called Lánchíd (Chain bridge) built by Count Széchenyi from his own money.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Igen, most látom hogy elfelejtettem a lánc részet, bocsi.

They only thing that I dislike is the walking backwards in the run/marathon. I would find it very annoying if I was participating.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

if you reverse a run like that it, the runners look like they need to poop real bad

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yea that was my thought, too

Your backwards walking looks a lot more natural than most people's I've seen in videos. Also, super talented young lady, fantastic work!

Piggy backing on this comment just to say that I stopped to add 3 songs from the shots above. Thank you!!!

2) were interested, there will be two solar eclipses in the US less than a year apart, starting in 2023. I'm sure I don't have to tell you,

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

3) but shooting the sun can damage equipment without proper precautions. Now to October 2023 is probably a good amount of time to prepare

4) and possibly plan travel, if it's a thing you'd like to film. The second is in April 2024.
