This is making my brain twitch. I can't figure out what it reminds me of. The spine, specifically, looks INCREDIBLY familiar, but I don't know why yet. It's not right for the RIG from Dead Space. It's not a Sandevistan from Cyberpunk 2077. It's not the Borg queen's spine, not the "harness" from Falling Skies, not the exoskeleton from Elysium, not random augments from Altered Carbon...

I see what looks like an attachment point for a filter so I think it's a gas mask? Hard to tell.

Seconded. That's definitely a gas mask with a cheek filter. Considering the cyberpunk aesthetic of the costume, a gas mask is the expected option.

How does it feel to wear all this? Is it obstructive or like a second skin? Can you feel the way certain parts are layered?

I think the closest analog is nitrile gloves, or if you have ever worn a wetsuit to the beach. It does get sweaty, but it's a different kind of sweaty that isn't so bad, for instance, it doesn't smell and you don't drip all over. You only sweat from the parts that are covered.
The corsets are restrictive but you get used to them after a few minutes, like wearing a safety harness or big backpack.

As a dude that doesn't wear this type of stuff (not that I wouldn't...), The comparison to a wetsuit nails the feeling for me!

Just an hour and it will be very sweaty. But you might not notice until you take it off.
I was wearing a body while DJ'ing an event, and suddenly noticed a puddle at my feet. 😅 I didn't feel the sweat on me though.

Like I do get sweaty but just in a moist way, there is no pooling or dripping from my face. Sometimes I go clubbing in gear like this, but I don't really feel like I sweat that much more than usual :)
