Lol and I just plopped mine at the top of the stairs, walked down and refused to come back up until he came down.
Mostly because he was just being a chicken though, he could do 1 stair but then would hop back up it. So he knew HOW in theory.
but like hell I was gonna carry a great dane down every flight of stairs for his life haha

That is right, they can damage their hips. I carried my pup in all stairs until he was 6 months.
