I wonder if anyone had a landlord show up to see the cat their tenant said didn't exist.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

we have laws forbidding landlords from doing anything about cats

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'd agree, but the song complements the video in this case.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Automatic unmute and downvote, stop trying to decide for people what they should or shouldn't want to hear.

It does slap. Link to full song?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nevermind, I found it. It's great and for some reason made me cry? I think I'm sad

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dude this tune is bangin!

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I get it. You wanna hear the actual audio. But do unmute because 1. Drum and Bass. 2. This was a school project and that's pretty cool too.

2 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 7

Btw I am not sure if it was actually a school project tho. I now realise.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow. I didn't know they were kids. That's fudging adorable.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

From Ireland - they won a competition for it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah this song is a banger.

Alt title: “Cats experience ‘worst day ever’ in Toronto as they are forced to socialize with affectionate mob”

Kitties be like… ?1

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Yeah, why not practice the sacred art of "cat bribing"?
If our cats were still with us I knew I could make their day by prepping the window with comfy cushions, adequate warmth, catnip, a variety of treats and for piece de resistance a variety of cat toys in front of the windows so the visitors can provide the cats with entertainment.
It shouldn't be that hard to make it a good day for the cats as well.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Alternate Title: Cats are amused as slaves flock to their castles, but disapointed as they bring no offerings.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

Hey those assholes owe us lol

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Depends on personality. My cat Ludo, absolutely, he would hate that. My cat River would have a BLAST!

2 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 1

Funny my son whose name starts with L hates socializing. His friend ricer loves it, they are 1 years old

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Your cats name is ludacris?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No their son

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have dogs, but they are exactly the same. One is a social butterfly/attention whore and the other one is shy and doesn't like people except for her immediate family.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I don't think it looked that, seemed respectful enough. That said I do agree. We have the most gorgeous cat, multiple strangers have written to say they want her on somebshow or page or other. Never. She's ours and she's gonna live as spoiled and relaxed a life as is at all possible. Taking her to anything such would be for our vanity, not her benefit. Her names Cleopawtra and I'll post a few picks below

I miss living in Toronto.

2 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

I moved to Toronto last year. What's your favourite place here?

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I grew in High Park, and I love the west end. Spent a lot of time in the Annex and Kensington Market.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I don't. Mostly due to having never lived there before.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You’re not missing a thing except the food is pretty good. Completely unaffordable housing and rent and traffic that rivals LA.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

Disagree. Born and bred. We have our problems but what city doesn't?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I know all that. I live in Vancouver, which is always neck and neck with Toronto for most expensive city in Canada. It's my hometown, I grew up there. It's ok to love and miss where you grew up.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I'll agree about the rent but at least Toronto has a decent public transportation system. LA's is so patchy.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yep, we have a LOT of room to improve, but it's certainly not the worst system (though it seems like it at times).

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Toronto sucks, you're not missing much.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

It's my hometown and I love it there. Thanks for your opinion though, it really means a lot to me that you put the effort in to share.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live in Toronto. I probably shouldn't generalize so much, but the city, or perhaps just it's inhabitants, are not a good representation of a great city.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Welp, sucks for you to live somewhere you don't like I guess.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It does suck..

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do and I don't with all the random stabbings going down right now it's so bad right now. Before it happened but not like this

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Is it more than before? The stabbing

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Specificly random stabbings, a ton of people have been getting stabbed for no reason. I think it's starting to quiet down a bit but yeah it is or was getting bad

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What? Are there frequent stabbings? I'm in Copenhagen where violence is rare

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's a weird phenomenon Toronto does have a high stab rate because alot of gangs like to stab. But this is specificly people stabbing random people for no reason and cops never found a reason, they just wanted to stab someone.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Weird! Thanks for replying

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I could go down a history rabbit hole with it about how in the greaser era they would often have knife fights. This is where they tied their bandana's together, then hold onto the other end and stab at each other till one released the bandana. It's still very much a thing in skin heads, native gangs and French gangs and even mexican gang, others such as the crips and bloods you just had to kill the person though and collect the bandana.
Now Toronto is a very diverse place with a slowly 1/2

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I live in Vancouver now, there's not much difference in that regard. Also, note that I said I miss it, not that I would move back there. Just nostalgic for it, that's all. Love going back to visit. I grew up there.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Haha fair, like me and vancouver

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I just moved back a year ago, it's lost a lot of its charm... The new subway projects are killing neighbourhoods...

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Personally, I think these projects are long over due

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm not saying they're not needed, but the amount of small businesses getting closed down and the lack of compensation seems a slap to the face. (Not my words, spoken from a comic shop owner who has now lost not only his shop, but his home because of the Eglinton line. His location was chosen for an emergency exit tunnel.) Hell, people on our street have sudden foundation damage on relatively new buildings and they're getting the run around about it.
