Incoming ordnance has right of way

Tom Green's ears perk up.

Flew a shipment of these bombs to one of Ukraines neighbors recently before our cuntmander in chief pulled the plug on that. Glad I could contribute to the effort in some way as a civilian.

If we don't stop him on Ukraine's doorstep, he'll be on ours!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I really hope while they still have some US supplies they go for Russias throat if possible. Fuck the norms, take out Putin if possible.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Biden tried to give them as much as possible during his last months, but what they have now is kept secret for tactical reasons. Ukraine made some succesful counterattacks in Donetsk during the last few weeks which gives hope, but now Russia seems to be opening fronts in Sumy and Zaporizhia.

Videos that end too soon...

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looks like a half-roll leading to an inverted dive and get back to NOE flying to avoid radar as fast as possible. Full barrel roll wouldn't make sense under these circumstances.

Bomb sight predicts where the bombs will land so you'll roll into whatever position gets the sight on the target, pickle the bomb, and then roll out.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These are guided bombs, another commenter suggested it was a case of rolling during release so they could start the turn away as soon as the bombs where off the rails.

Couldn't resist flipping to see the drop. (I doubt this is why)

SDBs glide a long time. It's going to be minutes until impact.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's so they can see if all the bomb wings deployed properly, they might be videoing it as well.

Even if it's not the purpose for the maneuver, that would be an added bonus.

Hard core real war. Get it done, and be creatieve about it. The Ukrainians are certainly creative.

Too bad for trump, we already sent a shitload of weapons to them. Let's hope it's enough to at least last till A. Trump dies or B. His term ends.

Dogs don't know what aileron rolls are, can't fault em really

Thats a fox though.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Good point, I expect more from them

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is there more of this?!

for some reason this makes me think of star fox

To do a Barrel Roll press Z and R twice!

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*aileron roll

1 year ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 10

Nah that was a legitimate barrel roll. You can see the center mass moving in a circle while the body rotates

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Glad someone said it.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Do an aileron roll" -Nobody, ever.
I may not be a licensed pilot or even know what an aileron is, but I beat Star Fox. Twice.

1 year ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

We only see the clip end half way through, could easily turn into a half barrel roll, especially if dropping a 2nd set of bombs, etc, no need to be pedantic on a short clip

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 9

But isn't that the point of pedantry?

Just do a roll. Whatever roll you want.

I wonder what kind of "square-peg-round-hole" shenanigans is involved in attaching and launching US made ordinance from a Russian build jet.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If anything Ukrainians have proven to be serious McGuyers. Of course western nations have supported and provided technical expertise but i have seen cockpits with iPad minis and such from where they control the modern weapons because apparently russian tech from the 70s and 80s just can't cut it anymore.

A few NATO-states have/had MiG-29. Germany was the first after the reunification '89, then Poland and other Former-Warsaw-Pact countries. They had ample time to figure it out.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sure, but again, I'm curious what's involved. I don't work on fighter jets for a living so I wonder what kind of things have to be done.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's difficult to see what is going on with no reference points but Toss Bombing is definitely a thing, either a toss from the side to prevent flying directly over air defences or when low level bombing to delay the bomb impact until the aircraft is clear of the blast radius. The one below is called "The Idiots Loop "

1 year ago | Likes 234 Dislikes 1

I knew their prices have gotten high, but a bit of an over-escalation imo

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So you're flying under the trajectory of your bomb? Badass

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But that's not how toss bombing works, well, it is, but not like this picture shows. You release the bomb at a 45 degree angle for maximum distance, and then turn and make a break for it at full throttle away from the impact point. This was important since the bombs being tossed would have been the B53, a bomb with a 9 megaton yield. You'd wana get as far away as possible from that monster before the double flash.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's a GBU-39. You don't really toss those like ballistic weapon. They have wings and can exchange speed for altitude freely. Just be in the release parameters and they figure it out.

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Convenient with what is going on that they are bombing a Target

1 year ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 1

I mean it's Target's fault for ending their DEI policies.

I like how the turntable only really works for the center track of the three it crosses.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trains make rather poor bombers.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They can be great for eliminating barricades and other large obstructive structures, though.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ah, a MiG dropping US ordinance on Russian targets is so satisfying to me for some reason.

1 year ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Same. Its like Cain and Abel opened a donut store

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Firstly, the Mig-29 is a Russian aircraft, and secondly, Ukraine is losing

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 51

Thirdly, go fuck yourself.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That's the point of their comment. That's it's a Russian made aircraft using American weapons to attack the Russians. It's a double fuck you to them.

You dropped your Putin's c*ck flavoured chapstick on the floor.

Sure, Igor. What ever your dear Putler says.

1 year ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

You're just a victim of propaganda and can't see the full picture. Even America is denying support to Ukraine—remember the meeting between Zelensky and Trump. The largest country in the world, which defeated fascism, cannot lose to Ukraine. You should take the time to study history more thoroughly.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 14

"Which defeated fascism" lmao.
You mean the country that allied with Hitler and drew up plans to divide Europe?
The country that was perfectly happy to work with Fascists while it was convenient?

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, Igor. I'm Finnish so I know my history to confidently say what a piece of shit Russia is. Pretty sad really as it almost started to look like the Soviets would finally be a normalish country, but then Putler happened.

you literally just said your opinion and nothing more, in Russia at least there are no homeless people on the streets, and the best metro in the world, for example.
