185 kg (407 lb) squat. Maybe had a bit more in me but still a PR. Up about 80 lb since this time last year.

132.5 kg (292 lb) bench. I missed 305 lb even though I’ve hit it in the gym a few times. Still happy with it. About 17 lb better than a year ago.

195 kg (429lb) deadlift. This is my weakest lift and the one I struggle to pull with good form. Only 10 lb improvement over last year but my technique is much improved. I’m working with a coach to address my weak points and bring up my total for next year.

2nd place! (Out of 2 in my weight class haha). Overall, I hit the numbers I wanted. 1200 lb is within reach for next year. Gotta work on that deadlift.

The event was at Northside Athletics in Fairbanks Alaska. Awesome community.

You definitely had more in the tank for the squat! Nice job man

Serious question: why do you value doing one of these reps? What does only one of anything matter?

You do a significant percentage of this weight for reps on training days. for competition/fun/testing limit it's just the one rep max.

The short answer is “for fun”. In terms of long term health there are way more options, but this keeps me motivated to train and be healthy.

Oh... okay, makes sense. Good luck in continued awesomeness!

You're lean to be hitting those numbers, so good on you! If you get real solid at DL your other lifts will go up too. Good luck.

Thanks, looking to gain some weight for next year. Not an easy task as a T1 diabetic. I weighed in at 90.0kg for this meet.

How tall are you? I'm 6'4" (1.95m) and it took years to get my deadlift form where I want it. It's harder when you're tall.

I’m 6’2” and mostly torso so yeah the conventional DL is a difficult movement. I may make the switch to sumo
