My only regret is that it took us so long to do this. But that's how it goes sometimes. You can keep your head down for awhile, cling to the status quo until something happens that shatters the illusion. Once that happens, it doesn't come back. We can see the consequences of our actions, and inactions, clearly now. One thing the Twin Cities has a LOT of experience with is clearing ice off our streets.
