For THT I want to present the garter tattoo idea. I am craving a new tat and it's something I've been thinking about. I want to hear your opinions. PICS ARE NOT OC

love flower tattoos obviously

Dagger is an interesting choice

Not a big fan of bows but this one I like

Love the uniqueness

This was my original thought. Basic lacy

Please drop any suggestions, opinions, or ideas you have.

Tatoos arnt really my thing, but I have to say the fine detail on those to actually look lacey is so cool!

I love them all!

But then when you put on a garter, how will anyone know? /s These are all pretty great tattoos. Hard to decide.

I think something more neutral like the first one is cool. It implies the stocking aesthetics without being one. Going more literal with a stocking tattoo isn't my jam, but I fully realize it's entirely subjective.

I think any of those are pretty neat. racy without being vulgar.

Not typically a fan of Tatoos, but have to say these are both cool and sexy.

I love the flower one! It’s a good representation of it being a garter without it looking lacy. Also love the line work. Some of the other thicker ones will look blurry after time.

First and third are my favorite. I like the idea of a dagger but not a fan of that example.

My thoughts also. I like the third but I find the lacyness of the first one to be super sexy. Showed it to my wife and she wants something like that now. The last one isn't bad either but I'm not a fan of how dark it is.

Recently dated a girl with a sword down the back of her leg. Hottest thing ever

I like it, but also just one leg

Suggestion: Don't do a choker version around your neck.

I dig the idea of a hidden weapon. A stiletto, a derringer pistol, a mini poison belt.

Maybe incorporate some skulls into the embroidery

The rose is my favourite

#1 or #2

My brain still goes fuzzy over the bows on the back of the thighs tattoos...

I'll see if I can find better examples. That could possibly work

#1 on a single leg, but that fine shading looks tough.

I really like that first one. I like the variance in the width of the band/ dangly parts, instead of a solid band all the way around. This is more interesting and gives the eye more to focus on and enjoy.

I like the first and third. First I think is the most impressive artistically and the most likely to get a "wow" out of anybody who sees it. The fifth is also very nice in a more classy understated way - it doesn't try to grab your attention with its flashiness but it looks great

Super sexy!

Oh god I can't handle this.

It looks bitable

I am not much for tattoos. In fact, I generally just dislike them. I mean you do what you like, I would never tell people that have them that. But these are wonderful.

Tattoos that thin tend to become dark lumps after 20 years, even if they are well done

Dagger and lace all the way

If I was a girl i'd definitely get these stocking top decorative tatts. Especially the dagger.

As a guy, I'm thinking about getting these anyway. Why limit yourself?

Same here

This tattoo is hot af. But it probably won't age well. Tattoo artistry is limited to the realities of skin

I saw a leatherman in Florida who had a map tattoo, used his leathery wrinkles to create valleys/mountains on the map. Solid 5/7

But your skin will age either way. When you're wrinkly and 80 you could also have the visible reminder of doing cool shit when you were young, like getting tattoos.
And that's in the worst-case where the tattoo ages poorly. What if it still looks good?
I dunno, the more tattoos I get the more it feels like most excuses people have to not get tattoos are unfounded.

I think reasonable limitations are basically limited to: no names unless they're dead or your offspring, be careful about media references that might age into something problematic, and avoid the face.

I have no problem with tats. Have several and will get more. These types of tats turn unrecognizable far more quickly than others. Personally I'd rather have a tat that still looks good 40 years from now. But thats just me
