This happeneds all the time, NEVER leave the mouse in the cage, try for 10 minutes or so then take it out. This makes me sad. Poor snake.

The mouse didn't have any other source of food.. Other than the snake eating the mouse, what do you expect to happen?

I expected the snake to grow wings and fly away. Nothing. I expected the snake to eat the mouse like everyone else.

...you expect the snake to eat the mouse.

"OTHER THAN"

Also, that mouse looks a bit big for that snake. Probs why it didn't eat it.

Or they over feed the snake. That happens with owners who really enjoy the feeding process and the snake eats so often it ignores its food.

After 6 days tho? Feel like it'd have ate by then. The mouse is about the width of the snake, yes snakes expand but still.
