Virtual Reality - When nothing makes sense

Once in a while it happens: everything is absurd, nothing makes sense.
Your work is wildly unreasonable. Your clients are illogical. You cannot understand anyone and no one can understand you.
You are an alien on this planet. There is no sense to continue...

So you go to a different world,
where a peculiar cat nests in the hair of a strange lady,
where black is the color of joy,
where nice songs are weird and weird songs are nice,
where there are no rules and you can create whatever you want.

And when you'll come back, everything will be fine.

Enjoy your life: switch worlds.

"Black on Black" painted in virtual reality with Tilt Brush and the HTC Vive

How long do we give it before someone starts doing animations like this, drawn frame by frame in VR.

I recently landed a VR DJing gig in SF. We're still fine tuning everything but it's pretty neat. High Fidelity.io

Wow you are extremely talented! I love how this combines traditional and digital art. One day you can 3d or cnc print it too!

Humans are the gods of mathematic and arithmetic. By extension of this, we are the gods computers and by further extension VR.

IIRC they did a bunch of stuff with tilt brush back when Doctor Strange came out.

Yyyay disruptive emerging art!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Forgive me for not understanding, but how is it disruptive?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That just means it changes how you would normally interact with the given technology/subject matter.

I drew a dick for a statue in my virtual home. I felt accomplished. I couldn't imagine doing this kinda stuff.

That's a start ;)

"I did something dick related because LOL dicks are so funny!" -some immature idiot

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

Hey fuckface, everyone is entitled to draw a dick once in a while. But you are compelled to do so on a newly rediscovered cutting edge tech

You seem like fun. But no, I did it because he looks like he's pelvic thrusting, and it looked right.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Whoa, you can finally import your own stuff? I saw that in the Core 2 notes but I didn't think it was out yet

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

What app is this? Virtual Home? Is it on steam?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So it's actually the beta for the Oculus software itself, which is what Core 2.0 is. The app is just Home, which replaces the std view.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You opt in tonit through the Oculus settings. So far, dope. Some people have stability issues but it's been pretty good for me
