Let me know if this is true.

I found this on Facebook, and want to know if this happens for real.
P.S: This is not an advertisement, I am just curious if its true. Btw, the person on fb might be advertising, I've no idea about that.

In the fund raising world this really is not very much. Most fund raising/non profits are lucky to collect 20% after all costs

I can confirm that gofundme does collect 5%, plus (2.9% and $0.30)/donation...

...and that makes me wonder if you can donate $0.01...to screw with someone...I sort of hope not, but then again...I sort of hope so.

I have never used Go fund me but... isn't there a minimum you can donate?

I do not know...but it seems like it takes $0.33 to break even...depending on how they do the math. The 7.9% could be on the gross or net...
