Shit.

Jan 23, 2017 7:40 AM

I'd say I'm a pretty moderate conservative. Voted for Obama in '08 and Romney in '12. Really didn't want Trump to get the R nomination, but when he did I just couldn't bring myself to vote for Hillary. I hate that I have to live with the fact that I voted for a man that is a constant embarrassment to this country.

He was an embarrassment to the country long before the election. I wish more people had seen that.

Thank you for acknowledging the mistake, now come and join the protests! We love you anyway.

Acceptance is a good start :-). Just think of practical ways to defend any institutions you care about in the next four years. :-)

Hey, i think it was stupid, but so were most and you owned up to a mistake, and thats a good step food good change

You and a lot of others. I say it like this "I voted against Hillary, not for Trump." Doesn't take the saddness away though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

It's not just you, dude. All the rest of us have to live with it, too. You didn't just screw up your own life; you took us down with you.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But the alternative fact is voting for Trump was one of the best decisions you made and nothing you say can prove me wrong.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When you're voting for one simply because you hate the other, the better option may be to skip that line on the ballot.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I regret your vote also.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't vote for Trump, but i was going to vote for Hillary, till she helped/was complacent in rigging an election. The antithesis of 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

America. There really was no right or wrong decision here. Had you voted the other way, you would prob regret just as much

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

The propaganda war against Trump was and is insane. And with every new lie they expect that people forgot about all the previous ones.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 13

The EXACT same thing can be said about DJT and his team and THIER propaganda war against us all.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Hahaha. That's actually how I read the previous comment. Then I read your reply and realized I read it wrong

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Don't sweat it, you didn't vote him in anyway. The electoral college did. Be more concerned about that...

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

No content on account and first post and comment is jumping into a circle jerk.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So I guess nobody's allowed to have a first post? I made this account to make this post because I'm sick of the personal attacks on Facebook

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's there to worry about, higher taxes, no healthcare, a recession, we might be leaving the UN... An something about the trade agreement

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well I certainly wish you hadn't voted for him but I'm glad you're rethinking things. And remember it's not like your vote alone elected him

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

No single raindrop believes it's to blame for the flood.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Mathematically a single rain drop isn't responsible, but I suppose using that logic is a bit short sighted and naive

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The idea that Hilary was anywhere near as bad a choice as Trump is the biggest lie of all. A charismaless career politician is bad, but not1

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 5

an existential threat to the country or the world. Trumps climate change policy and cabinet picks put us all at risk.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

PREACH, she's easily one of the most qualified people to ever run for president. This coming from someone that doesn't like her either.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

*Constant embarrassment to humanity

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Don''t worry too much it won't last four years.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 8

Don't feel too bad. Just remember some people voted for harambe.

9 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 8

And Aaron Rodgers got some votes too.

You mean you don't like Trump's alternative facts?

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 4

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I know YOU know, but just point out to those who don't, "alternative facts" == "lies".

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

I reject your reality and substitute my own!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Gotta say I'm not a fan of making up petty facts and doubling down on them when they're called out

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

What did you expect of the man? He never pretended to be anything he wasnt, and this is who he is.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And really who cares about crowd sizes? I mean we all knew he was egotistical, but this shit is childish.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

AND it distracts from the truly important things he is or will be doing that will undo decades of progress.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think it's a trick though. He just constantly needs to be validated for some reason.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be fair, Clinton was a shit pick. I think she was the better option than Trump, but I wasn't exactly excited about voting for her either.

9 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 11

I view every election as the choice between the bad and the less bad, in a year no one can say they werent warned

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I probably would've voted for anyone other than Clinton and Trump. Unfortunately this country is too divided to have a moderate candidate.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

You could have. I voted Gary Johnson. Not because I thought he was good, but I wanted third parties to get enough votes for election funding

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I'm all for voting for a billionaire president, I just wanted McAfee

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

same

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same. Honestly, I hated Hillary enough to vote for Trump, but she was polling heavily in my state so I didn't mind throwing my vote to Gary.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I did the same thing for literally the same reason, but people don't seem to understand the logic train for it which is frustrating.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope, everyone just says you're throwing your vote away. Add up all the nonvoters and 3rd party could've easily got the vote requirements.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't vote for him, but he hasn't actually done anything yet.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 15

The National Park Service was ordered to shut down their Twitter account … i just find that tragically hilarious

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Look at what he's done in that one day for God's sake. Whined about attendance and shut down free speech.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm curious to see what Trumpcare will look like. I'm not a fan of the ACA but I'm concerned he may not have anything better replace it with

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

He's just gonna take anything of Obama's that works. Slap a Trump sign on it and tell everyone he made it all himself.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There will be no Trumpcare. There's nothing to replace it. ACA will finally end & all we'll get is some weak justification for no stbstitute

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

His cabinet and advisory picks and signing papers to take away millions of people's insurance are bad. He did all of that on or before day 1

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

What he has signed is actually just removing the penalty for NOT having insurance. Is it not?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

True, but it's the groundwork for taking that coverage away. I didn't have room for that subtlety in my previous comment.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Yes it is.....

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Along with cutting funding for domestic violence and first time home buyers

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

To be fair I don't think the government should be funding domestic violence

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Haha haha.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

^thanks for being level headed. Not a lot of non trump voters saying this.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

But I bet a lot of them are thinking it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
