Count yourself lucky. Its more common that it makes it worse

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Depends on what kind of contraceptive you go with. IUD typically has milder symptoms compared to depo or the pill.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Im just gonna say it since no one else has. VIAGRA

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Does Viagra make you horny or does it just give you the tool to deal with one exsistening hornyness

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Try distracting her with oral or something similar. Then start upping your cardio game so you can try to keep up.

Implanted birth control thingy, like a spiral etc. I think....

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a T placed in the uterus that helps with birth control, some last 5 years others 10

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I spent years as a military medic and both acronyms where common for me to say, and I still constantly mix them up by accident.

9 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

*medic yells* "Doc, this woman needs an IED, STAT!" *Doc thnks and replies* "I'm gonna destroy that pussy."

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wish my wife would get an IUD

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I got mine recently.. in my case I got cramps the first day... and that was it :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got one 12 months ago, all but 1 day cramping and bleeding so far. would not recommend it unless she had kids and have light periods.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I got mine two years ago and it's been great, I love it. It's very different for each person though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i have to ask for a friend: what's an IUD?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

The single best form of birth control!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Intrauterine Device. One of the most effective forms of birth control. No daily pill necessary.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Birth control inserted in her uterus BY A PROFESSIONAL. Don't try to sneak it in there while she's sleeping. Very Bad Plan.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

speaking from personal experience?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah my friend also wants to know

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Intrauterine Device. Birth control inserted into the uterus. The most common kinds release hormones or copper to prevent egg fertilization.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It doesn't release copper, it is made of copper and constantly irritates the uterine lining to prevent pregnancy.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Also sperm don't like copper so they generally die there in the uterus.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

1/2 The wire sheds copper ions. That's the point - the ions get into uterine fluids and biochemically alter the uterine environment so it's

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

2/2 not favorable for cell life - most to all sperm cells die, and implantation can be prevented even post-conception.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I can't find anything online to support what you're saying. Can you share a source so I can read more about this?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Had similar issue for me, reverse order. Almost too much to deal with with her IUD. She had it removed and the pill = 0 drive :(

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

So you're saying you have 12 kids...

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Either I'm shooting blanks or copper wire works as well as they say it does, cuz thankfully no, none.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Oh yeah. Copper is a great anti-fauna/flora tool. Destroys cellular structures with ease. Banned as an anti-foulant on ships by fish-kissers

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wait iuds increase sex drive?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

mine did! i <3 my Skyla

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In short, less while body hormones increase your natural hormone balance. Iud have localized hormone a in utero only. My drive went waaay up

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had zero libido for the 5 years I had my Mirena IUD in. Feeling like a "normal" woman again, 6 months after having it removed.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The non hormonal ones bring back the normal sex drive that pills decrease

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know if IUDs increase sex drive, or if they just don't kill it like the pill does.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Iuds don't use anything other than copper, atleast they used to, to deture sperm, so no hormones, that would be natural sex drive.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Getting mine tomorrow, so yay?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Good luck. Take a few ibuprofen (ibuprofen, not acetaminophen) before you go. Intense, but very brief experience. Recovery takes a bit.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Insertion was a breeze

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Have you had kids?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then that's why.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i had some cramping for about 12 hrs after getting mine inserted but then i was ready to... insert... something else

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had cramps for 12 months. Bloody waste of fucking time.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you kidding? I didn't want to have sex afterward for days.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

:/ that sucks so much, i'm sorry

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Literally the most intense pain in my life. Took awhile just to get over that sense of violation.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

D: that is so awful that you had to go through that! did your provider talk you through the process? that helped me a lot.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll bring the cheese for that whine!!

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I was in the pill... I would have some sex drive... but I changed to a non hormonal IUD and bam, I'm ready to help my SO stress relieve

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Don't those make your periods super heavy and painful?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My period was not painful and not even heavy. It came back to normal and I had the average cramp. That was it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which on-hormonal iud? Is it the copper one? I've wanted to make the switch

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got the copper one, paragard. So no hormonal

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Did you find the cramping/bleeding more than usual? I've heard some horror stories.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, when they place it it feel terrible, but after the 3rd day I was back to normal. The first night was terrible but then I was just 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

2/2 swollen. My period passed with no cramps, and not much bleeding

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I've been thinking about switching to a non hormonal IUD for this very reason. So you've found that it actually makes a difference?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It can, but BE PATIENT! The post pill effects can last long as a couple of years, so just try to have a healthy life, things will improve!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would recommend the non hormonal iud over the pill any day. Sex drive is finally normal again. Heavier period for me but it's worth it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just got an IUD. The clinic I was at didn't even offer the non-hormonal one. Doctor said they're gradually being phased out.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got mine like a month ago, doctor said that it last the longest

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So far, I get less acne breaks. And my body went back to periods but mine are like 1 day or 2 long. My sex drive is back, yay!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Did it hurt going in? I was told women with no kids getting iud would hurt

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, when they introduce it in the uterus it does cause a huge cramp,& you will swell up.only that day was the worst, 2 days of swollen

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ohh ok thx
