Yeah my friend melted a nylon bag to his hands in college after leaning back on a table with a candle on it- set his bag and back on fire before he realized and as he grabbed the bag to take it off it melted to his hands. Not cool at all
You can see the fabric at the bottom move a bit later. So think someone blew on it, to see if it changes back again.
The ink/pigment they (probably) used for this, was developed in the 70s/80s. Commonly used for novelty mugs, so I guess the "innovation" here is supposed to be, to put it on a winter jacked.

Petty stupid to shoot a flamethrower at brand new stuff, maybe pay for it first.

Why though? So you can be lumo green when sitting next to the fire?

Ya, had the same thought. Would make way more sense to flip the color change. High vis in the snow.

So how does it go from green to black at 0:05? is this fucking ai again? whats going on?

also, the tag moves by itself in the last seconds. I guess there could be air movement, but it is still weird
reichtwinglunatic
turn from green to black for a split second and then turns green again. makes no sense, unless it's ai. I'd love if someone could explain that.

If its temperature controlled, the gas from the can is cold and they failed to ignite it in this shot. And thus turned back to black.
reichtwinglunatic
right, so the jacket is meant to be color changing. I thought it was a one time deal, just a fun side effect of heat. Makes sense, thanks.
reichtwinglunatic
how about the price tag moving by itself in the last couple seconds? could be air movement, but it looks strange
