As far as the eye can see

Feb 14, 2020 12:52 PM

There is a bean field and some cattle behind that Casey's. Their pizza is great, prove me wrong.

Throw in a Pizza Ranch if you're lucky!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Their breakfast pizza is very good.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lived in Sycamore for a year. Casey's has awesome pizza. The Thai restaurant in DeKalb can't be beat. Absolutely wonderful food.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Nothing better than fresh Casey's taco pizza

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had to zoom in because I thought this was my home town. Casey's breakfast pizza for life.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You're not wrong.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The state motto of Indiana is”there’s more than corn in Indiana.” They’re referring you soybeans.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thank you

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Casey's taco pizza is fucking amazing.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And their breakfast pizza!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do yall have cum n go?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I ordered my 21st birthday keg from there. The tub they gave me had Kum-N-Go crossed off and had Ejaculate and Evacuate written in.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's a corn field not bean field.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Agreed, delicious pizza!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Their pizza sucks for the cost. Can get much better for cheaper in my town. Also not eating dinner from the gas station then either.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I moved to the west coast from the Midwest a few years ago and the only things I miss are Casey's pizza and Quick Trip.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I live in Kansas City and everyone that comes here from out of state raves about QT.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gas stations out here have little to no drink and food choices and most 7-11s don't have gas pumps. It's weird and a little sad.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

Don’t forget the Busch Lattes!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You betcha!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol is this Iowa?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I grew up on the fringes of corn country, but I moved to Georgia 20 years ago. I miss it. There’s no wind here, no long sight lines.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In Georgia, the only place you can look is up.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

When you grow up in the Midwest, being in the mountains is extremely disorienting. Utah gave me vertigo.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Caseys was a great place for me to stop both times i drove across country. They were the only place with fresh foods

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You're just missing the heroin and racism.

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 11

I had not heard the N-word from a white person in decades, and when I heard it from Utah to Illinois... disgusting. just f*cking disgusting.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

They're behind (and inside) Casey's General Store.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

If your Casey's kitchen employee is a weed smoker, then you're going to get the best pizza EVER.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We've upgraded to meth in these here parts

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I wouldn't exactly say missing it

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll find more racism in NY and CA, the Midwest could give a fuck what your race is, only thing that matters here is work ethic.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 6

I wasn't called a racial slur in public until I lived in Indiana. And it happened 3 times in one year.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

being one of those coastal elites that lives in the midwest now, definitely more racism here, and a lot of judginess about religion

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

I find little racism in California, The midwest and the south are so extraordinarily thick with it, you would think that the civil war was/1

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Still being fought. /2

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where the hell is the Kwik Trip, what is this?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's Kwik Star in Iowa because there was already a store called QuikTrip

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or the other Quik Trip?!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You forgot the town that consists of a church, post office, and 3 bars for like 10 houses.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

We have a few of those here in IL too, lol

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A few of these here in Alberta

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you from Luxemburg Iowa? That's how my friend described his hometown

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

My experience was from Cushing, MN. But they're all basically the same.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Easy those aren't beans in your pic lol

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 6

Gotta be a least 1 soybean field. Not everyone will be on the same schedule.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shouldn't you be headed to work?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I said behind the Casey's.....

6 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Exactly fronk

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lol just giving you shit... was funny you show corn but said beans... figured it wasn't connected.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Iowa bean fields are sneaky!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But in actuality you missed the teenagers partying in the middle of the corn, horses, moonshine and one broken down truck.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I went to college in Kansas. That state is depressing.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

ah yes. the flint hills. drove through them many times w/out seeing them. b/c i was expecting hills, of course.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The worst state I've been to is Nebraska, it's basically Kansas but colder

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Everyone in Kansas acts like they quit caring 20 years ago. So many beat up cars and unpainted houses.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I live in Kansas. It is what you make of it.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a native Kansan, it's not really. It's mediocre. Not great. Not bad. Certainly better than that imposter state Arkansas.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

the arkansas river is the only river in the world that changes names when it crosses a political boundary.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's 2020, that river can identify as it pleases!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"ARE CAN SAW!"

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Go back to Canada Arkansas! Nobody likes you!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So many police, so little reason

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 5

I'm pretty sure all the fucking meth is the reason though, tbh.

6 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

Revenue generation through speeding tickets.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There’s one big reason, and that’s meth. So much meth.

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

But why. What happened to the wholesome virtues of the country life?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It’s a myth

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Back'n my day, ye got yer crack pipe wen ye turned 5 and ye didn need none o' dem big city teef.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Went on a 7000 km road-trip through Canada and the US. I was sleeping and my buddy stopped to get gas at a Casey’s. ->

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fucker never before saw the old style gas pumps where you pull the lever down. After ten mintues I was woken up to solve the problem.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

10 minutes seems like a long time to not solve that mystery.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Canada—Western Canada—have not had those types since the 80s. A small town; there may still be an odd one.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was really 9 minutes and 59 seconds.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, okay then.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Someone's gotta stop the law breakers going 38 in a 35

6 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 5

And jay walkers

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

cop salaries gotta come from somewhere

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the midwest? Bro cops will pass you if you're going 65 in a 45

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Haha for sure. I got pulled over when I was going 78 in a 65. I got a window tint ticket. We talked nothing of me speeding lol.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got a ticket for going 68 in a 65. About 40 miles from civilization.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What color is your car?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Black SUV.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah see there's your problem, it wasn't a white or beige sedan. Those are essentially invisible to the Police radar.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wait which state do you live in in the Midwest? If you say Ohio I have no help for you, and your cops can gobble knobs.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol, I used to work at a Casey's. Can tell you hoe to make taco pizza, if you want

6 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 4

*your

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Tell me!!!!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Screw taco pizza, I want the recipe for their sausage breakfast pizza.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Super easy my guy, cheese sauce, sausage crumbles, eggs, whole milk mozzarella. I worked at Casey's lol

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same, taco pizza on flatbread run through1.5x mmmmm

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fuckin loved the bacon cheeseburger pizzas, 1/4 mustard, 3/4 ketchup for the sauce. and ty, I

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

stupid enter key. I've been trying to remember what the sauce was for taco pizzas for a while now and straight up forgot.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes I do want, please.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They call you hoe? How rude

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

what about the breakfast pizza

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Oh man this is why I miss living in the midwest. Casey's taco pizza was awesome.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Taco's ok...their bacon cheeseburger pizza's the bombdiggity, yo.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can you please, my sister would be so excited to learn the recipe

6 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

your sister is a hoe

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is your sister a hoe?

6 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 1

It's just beans and salsa instead of pizza sauce, add beef, then mozzarella. When it's baked, add lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar, and Doritos.

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I live in the southwest now, grew in in Nebraska, and I was deeply disappointed to learn that taco pizza is a Midwestern only oddity.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Right?!? I live in Texas but am from Iowa. They love Tex-Mex down here so I’m baffled as to how Taco pizza isn’t king here!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where at in NE?!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Omaha, 10 minute walk from Crossroads mall.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I moved to Nevada from Iowa a while ago and Casey's pizza and donuts is still what I miss the most.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There isn't a decent pork chop in this whole part of the country

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Omg. First week out here I went to burger king to get the country pork sandwich. Confused the hell out of the employees. Haha

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What about breakfast pizza?? I need the recipe!

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

It's cheese sauce, eggs, bacon or sausage crumbles, mozzarella, use whole milk mozzarella if you want it to be as good.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Used to work there too! Make stuffed crust taco pizza dog. Got fired for doing it but it was righteous

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

eating dogs is wrong

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like this needs to be explained further

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Same thing as a traditional stuffed with cheese but I just added crushed Doritos and salsa my dude.Tasted surprisingly good, mgmt didt agree

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

*did not

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That's Iowa right there

6 years ago | Likes 150 Dislikes 0

And also why we shouldnt care about the Iowa caucus, ever

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 16

100%

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Depends on the part of Iowa. Northern Iowa, definitely. Southern, add more hills to the corn fields. Also where's the 5-10 house village?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My first thought

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's also Illinois where I am

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

As a small town Iowan I can confirm that is Iowa.

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I see you fellow Iowan

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or Nebraska! We love Casey’s!!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is a picture of my road i swear

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Needs a Kum and Go. At least there were a couple of those last time I went through Dubuque.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

/sigh...yup

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live in the town where Casey’s is headquartered. There are literally two Casey’s across the street from each other here.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ankeny?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maayyyyyybe.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My family lives there, I know this place to you refer to!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My reaction to this comment as an Iowan

6 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

Waverly Iowa! Wartburg!!!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What up from Omaha, neighbor! P.S. Your corn is inferior, but your pigs are divine. I would know, I’ve dated a few

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Hi

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hi fellow Iowan!

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Des Moines here

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Same!!!!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Noice same

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

There are dozens of us!! :)

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Well I'll be safe here across the river

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There needs to be a Dollar General in there.

6 years ago | Likes 504 Dislikes 2

I'm more of a Loaf N' Jug kinda guy.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And a Sonic.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i describe how poor the around around our cabin is by pointing out that the dollar general closed

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And a Pig farm.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not a Midwest town without at least three bars in it too

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's attached to the Casey's and a drive thru Subway

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe an utterly massive Flying J

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

With an Iron Skillet or Sizzler attached to it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With a family dollar and a cvs next door

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And a few churches.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mmm, food deserts

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it has taken over as the grocery story to rural america.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Best thing to ever happen (I live in a very rural area).

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

in a way yes, but most are concerned that it only really provides processed foods. Rarely anything actually nutritious.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Unlike what was already sold out there? Idiot.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Where I live, heavily processed foods are pretty much ALL you can get. We have no Whole Foods or Target or Aldi or anything like that.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah somehow my old Town without any stop lights has a dollar general

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Is there a Dairy Queen nearby? There certainly is in Texas.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're compact, efficient Walmarts. Great at undercutting local businesses without large-scale supply chains.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I hate how true this is.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Don’t forget Subway

6 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 1

Or the subway/gas station with one worker in it

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*stares at the DG, Subway and Kum and Go all next to each other across from her work* ope.. ah shit ಠ_ಠ

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't forget that gas station that has a pizza shop in it

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

We used to have a Godfather's Pizza in a gas station and it was soooo good.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Casey's is technically a gas station with a pizza shop in it.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dam. I didn't know that. We don't have any of those around here. Just random self owned ones

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A Dollar General? Bud you've never been the the Midwest. Make it five in a single town.

6 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

We have a dollar general inside of our dollar general

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My town barely has one that hasn't been remodeled in 30 years thanks to weird building codes for abandined buildings. It needs it, badly.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Your lucky around here if there's more than a gas station in town

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same in the southeast.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They're building a dollar general like two miles from the dollar general and the dollar store (which are different things) in my town.

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Try to get them to add a Diaso. It's basically a Japanese Dollar Tree but it's $1.50 for way better quality, plus everything is cute as fuck

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We have a Dollar General, Dollar Store, and Dollar Tree all within like a mile of each other.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I forgot about dollar tree lol. We have one of those too.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Southern Indiana?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nope, but close. I'm in Kentucky, just south of Louisville.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I lived there about a year. Popped up all over the place

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
