8 of these directly relate to co-workers so yeah, I'm adding this to my favorites for use at a later date

#6 is completely a poor example since in olympic archery they tell you consistency beats accuracy since you can just adjust your sight.

You missed one, @OP :

My secondary school art teacher had the 'Unique' one on her class room wall. I think she felt it was inspiring..

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I bet the person who made these has friends lining up out the door.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

That fork made me hurt all over.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"...there's no end to what you can't do." Yeah, the list of things I CAN'T do is fucking huge.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Anything that is literally impossible is on that list. If you count actions that can't have words impossible, that makes it infinite.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ahhh nature, the sound of animals trying to get laid. Reminds me of Highschool

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

These are..oddly comforting

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

Honesty is a great thing ^_^

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So how many people died while going to buy their lottery ticket before the mega mega mega of a powerball announced the winners?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well I already felt like total garbage but now my spirits have actually been lifted; so you're saying there's a chance!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

well isnt this a downer

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I love these, so damn much.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The last one hangs in my office. Just outside it hangs all the corporate BS signs.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have a home office, so there's nothing really to rebel against here. But I would totally frame one of those in an office.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I've always been partial to "Consulting - If you're not part of the solution, there's good money to be made prolonging the problem".

10 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 1

ha! I still use this quote to this day when I talk about consultants.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I considered that one. But I didn't want to dump too many in this post - just enough to give some of us a walk down memory lane.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Incompetence-you CAN get better by practice and increased effort.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ahhhh, true Demotivational Posters, much better then the hack people stick the format these days.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

There one hack in the bunch, but mostly originals.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I want to buy these for my office!

Remove the animal need to be a douche plus a hint of etiquette.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i had their calendar that had several of these images in it. 2004 i believe? they been at it a while. de-motivational posters-> early memes

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

1998, if you can believe it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

"grandpa, what were memes like before internet?" "well, son, in my day,we had to wait a whole month just to get a new picture to look at..."

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#7 there's a lot of archeological evidence that suggests that pyramids were built by paid craftsmen and not Slaves.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 6

was looking for this ^

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If you think your bosses that pay you don't consider you expendable, then I have some sad news.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Paid doesn't mean non-expendable. Paid laborers actually could encourage it as nobody has to pay the dead.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Bible only talks about the Hebrews making bricks. The pyramids were built by housed, fed, and paid Egyptian citizens.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I recalled hearing about it at some point. Never looked into the fine details. Will keep looking for something peer-reviewed.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Is it 2005 again? Where am I?

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 5

Ha! Most of these date back to 1998. These were among the first FW:FW:RE:FW: to get passed around the office. These are a interweb heritage.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

"I was told to never let this die" something something, FP!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did some research first and found that demotivational posters are a rare breed on imgur. I didn't want to saturate the market.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Nothing it's enough for Imgur

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Excellent website. My favorite is "Attitudes are contagious. Mine just might kill you."

10 years ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 2

I considered including: Tradition - Just because you've always done it that way doesn't mean it's not incredibly stupid.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Damn.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine is, "Every cloud has a silver lining. But thousands are struck by lightning each year trying to find it.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

A picture of 5 mice caught in one trap. "Teamwork, share the success, share the failure"

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Failure. When your best just isn't good enough.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Mine is: Sacrifice. All we ask here is that you give us your heart.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My personal favourite: "Failure. Life's way of teaching you that you ain't all that".

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I used to buy their calendars for my office. "Nepotism" month did not go over well.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

We were younger, internet was younger. Good times..

10 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 0

That's the thing about the past... everything was younger than it is today. This site is demotivational posters in 140 text format w/jiffs

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Last night I was thinking back to these demotivational posters from the 90's. My dad literally showed them to me in his electronic mail.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

the fact that you had to wait for several minutes for the caption to finally show made the experience all that more rewarding

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, they're pretty bad but I miss them compared to the shit memes nowadays. I can't wait until we move on

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was thinking about them the other day. $17 anyone?

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

That's Gangsta

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Eeeyyy! This boy gets it! *high-five*

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to write in all caps, then I learned better.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh hi there, fellow spiceworks person. Sysadmin?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Google image search. Sorry.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Considering how old these are, I'm really impressed by the lack of jpg.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha, yes. Very 2007

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#4 is from a game called Orcs Must Die for those who are curious.

I don't believe that one is an actual despair.com product, but I wanted to include it as I'm sure this audience would appreciate it. Thanks.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Markiplier did an lp of that with his brother a long while back.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Honestly some good memories of trying endless without mods. One time wave 63 before i feel asleep art the controls. Had it until then. :(

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

So he IS a hero!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unless you're an orc. Perspective

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am not an orc. Source: I am not an orc.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I know better than to trust random people on the internet. You're surely an Orc then.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's the tabletop RPG where you play as a whole group of orcs, right?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

No, it's a tower defense video game.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

No idea if you're joking or not, but in the event that you're not: it is not a tabletop game.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not joking, there actually is a tabletop game like that. Forget what it's called though.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's Goblin Commander but that's not tabletop

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know what you're thinking of, tho name eludes me too. This is a game where you play as the sole hero setting traps to kill 1000s of orcs

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Warhammer 40k?
