Do you have a suggestion for another 40k group/faction/individual that you'd like to see that isn't on the list? Leave a suggestion. One per person, please.
Explanation: A Harlequin, known in the Aeldari Lexicon as a Rillietann, is a member of a very distinct sub-group of the Aeldari species who belongs to none of the existing Aeldari factions, including the Asuryani of the craftworlds, the Exodites or the Drukhari of Commorragh. They are the keepers of the Black Library and serve the enigmatic Aeldari deity called the Laughing God.
The Harlequins see no distinction between art and war, and their outlook can best be explained by reference to the legend of the Fall of the Aeldari; one of their self-appointed duties is to keep this legend alive through their performances. The central figure of Harlequin belief is Cegorach, the Great Harlequin -- also known as the Laughing God.
Fun Fact: Harlequins have no formal leaders, being a collective of like-minded players each of them profoundly aware of its role. They perform around the galaxy as masques. A masque is both an army and a company of Troupers that are accompanied by specialist performers.

I will repeat it again my dream 40k video game is a blend of mirrors edge and dishonored gameplay where in you play a solitaire. It's easy to picture sadly I don't know a darn thing about how to make a game.

This is what happens when they let drama club kids and theater nerds into 40k

I've been out of the 40k-o-sphere for a minute. Who is the bald character and what do the Harlequin want from them?
Daetur
Looks like is just artist's made-up character for tabletop rpg game

I'll be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I think it is supposed to be from the game Rogue Trader, but I could be wrong. I sometimes grab things that I like, even if they don't always make sense or match up with the lore.
Ghostwish
Dang. I was gonna ask too. XD

An important note: You are not required to paint them with diamonds. They look fine without them, I promise. Do not torture yourself.
PaladinWiggles
Yeah but you're cooler if you have diamonds #DiamondsGang
DarksteelPenguin
I hear you roll more 6s if they have diamond patterns.
Rheios
You could always try the ol' swords, pentacles, cubs, and wands if yo wanted to try another suite.
Nusete
You can cheat and paint with one color and the diamonds with a thin point drawing pen

True but Harlequins are a factions that you grab knowing they'll be a pain in the ass to paint all that trim and detail and usually with the expectation of at least attempting the diamonds. They are NOT for someone new to the painting side of the hobbey IMO. A new person absolutely could and should go for it if they like em as their favourite faction (screw gatekeeping), but they might as well so for NNM, OSL and yellow as their faction scheme cause it won't make things any harder at that point.

Reminds me of a friend who started Aeldari because "it'll be really easy to paint because it's all just cloaks and robes." lol, luck with that buddy.

The second awful thing about playing any elf faction. your models are very...thin. My tremors are bad enough i have snapped off spears/arms/swords. I even broke this center pieces spear
Its a 6.5 inch tall model (16.5cm) Had a friend fix it. Broke it within 2 months again so he put a brassrod in it for me... i broke it the very next game a month later.
