That's gold. Solid.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So, about a week?

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Nah, it's about a weed.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I spit my tea out

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So, I guess you're saying you can put your weed in it?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I knew a guy once who made a bong out of a garden gnome. Pot is a gateway drug to arts and crafts.

10 years ago | Likes 418 Dislikes 2

Knew someone who made one out of a soda can.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Everyone has done that. That's what you did when you didn't have anything else to smoke outta. Unless you had an apple.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

MacGuyver smokers. I once made a bubble gun into an electric pipe.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I made one out of a Kerplunk game w my roommate, using only tools and such we could reach from the couch. Twas awesomeness.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My sister made one out of a childs' purple plastic elephant sippy cup.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

True that. The other night I colored half of my niece's Frozen coloring book while watching Archer

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Had to come back to upvote this once my brain finished processing it

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

According to Denis Leary, "it leads to fucking carpentry".

10 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

I've never made a table or a retaining wall to smoke pot out of. But I did make a one hitter out of a bic pen.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My friend and I used a wooden bird we painted in arts and crafts class in high school. It was the cutest fucking thing.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I once made a mini bong out of a bendy straw and a metal pen tip, complete with water. Stoner ingenuity at its finest. Haha

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That sounds... splintery

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

...wrong use of "fucking" but I can see the ambiguity in my quote.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I literally said this same thing in my head with the ellipsis and everything. I feel somehow less dissociated with the world now. Thank you.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Do these clean easy? Can hot water be run through them?

10 years ago | Likes 332 Dislikes 2

Don't use really hot water. It can cause them to shatter. Also don't clean after a smoke session

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Porcelain that is fired at hundreds or thousands of degrees will not break bc of <200 degree water

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I saw that they were porcelain after I posted. But there's far better ways of cleaning pipes than warm water.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They won't shatter if you use warm water. And I'm not sure what you mean by don't clean after a smoke. You can certainly clean them.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I think he means RIGHT after as it COULD be too hot, let it cool down before cleaning?...

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Bingo

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, ok. That makes sense.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

These are one time use? Oh man!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

No, just keep using them and don't clean immediately after. Or at all, maybe?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can clean it. Just like a glass pipe. The piece is glazed, which is basically a layer of glass skin over the vitrified porcelain body.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right, I was just wondering why the commenter above us was saying *not* to clean it. Is there any reason why one would not want to?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No they are not.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry I'm being stupid ;) post said don't clean after smoke session = 1 time use. They look great btw!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup! You can clean them like you would a glass pipe with water or isopropyl alcohol. The interior is glazed as well.

10 years ago | Likes 240 Dislikes 0

For sale?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

First one reminds me of my hashish pipe I'd love to buy pne of yours tho OP

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Would one perhaps be able to buy one of these artworks from you? Do you have a website?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@OP can these be used for weed? asking..for a friend..who does science (im guessing answer is yes)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You can smoke whatever you like out of these.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So how do i procure one from you

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Frickin gorgeous. I'm honestly shocked how much I like these over glass

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

@spypies what do such beauties cost u got a web store

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah! I feel weird spamming the link everywhere, but one more time! https://www.etsy.com/shop/HalcyonClays Thank you!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How much? I'm interested in making a purchase

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Than you! I have a little etsy thing if you wanna look around: https://www.etsy.com/shop/HalcyonClays

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think you're about to get a lot of sales on your etsy.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

what glaze do you use that isn't toxic to smoke? when I made one it burned and tasted like cancer.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's weird, I use glazes that fire at cone 5/6. Did you use a low fire clay body/glaze? That might've done it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean it was a school kiln, I'm not sure on the specifics, but i know it was a standard and probably minimum budget.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No extravagant competition piece can ever compare to a reliable, easily cleanable pipe.

10 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 4

Fair enough.

10 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 1

OP, that was a compliment :)

10 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 1

In the long run, I mean. Yours though, I'd love to have.

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

What are the advantages of porcelain vs. glass?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've been told the ceramic pieces take heat better so you can smoke more bowls in a bigger group.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do you know much about smoking? Or do you just like making pipes? I want to enjoy smoking a pipe but I can't use tobacco...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Um, I could be wrong here, and I'm not being facetious, but I don't think those are meant for tobacco.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I smoke a little, but I just really love making pipes. Here are some tobacco alternatives if you're interested: www.smokableherbs.com

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you have a website? I'd love to buy!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude, you're seriously talented.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey I noticed you have not made anything in some time, hope everything is OK :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is there a side hole attached to the bowl or are there only the small holes inside of the bowl?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also known as a carb :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes there is a hole on the side.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Will you soon be adding the ones shown above to the shop?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you don't see it in shop then I've already sold it, sorry!
