As a father of 2 girls
These pictures spoke to my soul
They seemed to capture
The indescribable joy
That having little girls
Has brought to my life
Their tiny hugs
Their little hands holding my finger
They way they brighten a room
With their smiles and laughter
They see the world with eyes of wonder
And pure childish delight
They love completly and purely
They help me to find the joy of discovery
And to appreciate the little moments
Through them, life has taken on new meaning for me
They have shown me what life is really about
They don't yet know heart ache
And they still see the world as a wonderful adventure
Their happiness in innocence is contagious
They weight of the world can crush a man
But the feather light hearted nature of a daughter
Will lift a father's spirits and assure him he is capable
Of taking on any task that she could ask of him
I strive every day to be a better man
Because to my daughters, I am a hero
