I edited some of my trail camera clips to get a sense of the size of the animals. I’m no pro at editing as you can see, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together. Have a great day. Arigato~

I was gonna ask if that was a tanuki -- I gues Ren-chon was there

This is cool. I wish wild animals were less skittish and we could see them better.

How are these animals in the wild so chill around people?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They're not. I edited myself into this footage. Sorry for the confusion!

Are wild hogs in Japan as dangerous as in the southern USA?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Only when there’s 30-59 of them

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not sure about the USA, but they certainly can be dangerous when they have no escape route or are panicked. I've had a few encounters

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT PHEASANT THAT WAS

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Copper Pheasant (Syrmaticus soemmerringii) also known as Soemmerring's Pheasant. Endemic to Japan. Near threatened. One of my fave birds!

Thank you! I must do research!

I could tell this was japan, because there was a Tanuki. Careful around those boars though, some can be aggressive.

lmao "some"

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hang on. Why aren't the tanuki's giant balls pixellated out then?

Also Japan is small islands, so the animals don’t have as much space to stay away from the trail cams as they do from mine.

are you being overly helpful or did you not realize it's an edit

Both. It was something that went through both of my ears without making a pit-stop. ;)
