Only because the rest of the kingdoms were just as depleted with their forces
The Vale and North seemed to have higher numbers than Dany post nightlong, though.

The writers literally talke about the dothraki being wiped out Plus both them and the unsullied were in the front so theyd all be dead
usernametaken89
to be fair, the unsullied should be able to survive, atleast half of them, despite being in the front line. They are quite strong though.
They were literally engulfed by a charge of 100,000 undead, with only 18,000 they would have been overwhelmed and slaughtered
The fact that the unsullied and Dothraki have still such a presence at the end bothers me, what about the northmen? Where are they? ...
DanglyDongle
Them surviving was unnecessary. Drogon is menacing enough. And greyworm surviving makes sense plus allows the tension between him and Jon.
Jon just has no followers it seems, it’s all Unsullied and Dothraki, a lot of it still it seems. To me the standing army of the Unsullied...

But why wouldn't she bring them when she's risking her own life and her dragons life for the fight? Why save a massive army?
Manofthelaw3
It's Dany, if she wasn't overconfident she could win every fight with her dragons easily, she would've died in Essos.
If that was an active decision then you show her arguing about it with her advisors. Now its just lazy.
It just comes across as them wanting a lot if people to die, but then realizing they need more troops for the next fight.
