Well I remember seeing an article years ago about a rabi in Australia on trial for sexually assaulting a child and his lawyers defense was "well its his religious right to practice the acts of his religion" it didnt fly in the court. But yeah they welcome those people for a reason. Im not surprised.

Back in college for a history course our professor assigned the book McMafia by Misha Glenny (that class was about the history of gangs and such). It was pretty interesting, but a section that stuck out to me was about Israel, and how after the fall of the USSR Russian and I think Chechen Jewish oligarchs brought their criminal enterprises to Israel/Tel Aviv, especially brothels/sex trafficking.
