4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope my state isn't on there.

"Freedom"* and "democracy"*

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And this is how you end up with states that vote 75% democrat but have 60% republican legislators

upvote if you sang the ABCD song in your head

There has to be a better way. How. Do other countries deal with this?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Both parties do this when in power and it needs to stop.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That B doesn't look like that at all... but yeah overall these are fucked up

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like how they used the same district twice and just flipped it

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except Texas Supreme Court is Republican, and the going the SCOTUS route will take over a year past the midterm election. Point to GOP.

Need to stop getting represented by where we live. Anybody that gets a total of 500k votes gets seat.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

W and M are the same one!

I support the D and O the most

How many of these lines are coastlines or rivers, or are just county borders...? Not that gerrymandering shouldn't be banned. Its bullshit.

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 10

Most of them are highways/roads/ect. Cutting neighborhoods up to reduce the ability for that area to form a vote. Lumping in with major

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Areas of the opposite political spectrum. I won't say red, because democrats have done it too... just that the GQP has done it much better

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Cheating is the only way republicans can win... sadly enough, they are very good at it.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 6

funnily enough i bet they say the same about you.while both of you are empty headed morons that add nothing to a discussion or their country

Sadly you need to look a little closer to these, some of them are Democrat's too

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

The controlling party of a district isn't necessary the benefactor. You need to realize that creating 1 district that is 95% (1)

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

In favor of the opposition can be to your benefit. If you lump all of one parties voters into one district that means you win the rest.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Some of the most heavily gerrymandering districts controlled by democrats were designed by Republicans for this very reason.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

O and Q look pretty aight though as far as gerrymandering goes

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And D, in my opinion. These are the only three out of twenty-six that I can say that for though.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But were they gerrymandering to give Ds an extra seat or gerrymandered to lump as many Democrats into one district to give Rs more seats(1)

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a very important distinction. You can gerrymander to carve new seats out for yourself but you can gerrymander to cram the (2)

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Opposition into a few uncontested seats while you have a safe margin everywhere else.
