Oh I can only imagine the destruction both of them can cause in the house.

Flearoy is a solid name.

8 years ago | Likes 418 Dislikes 1

I don't know, I feel it's a bit too masculine for a calico cat.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Best name ever for a pootykat

Coyote looks like playing, kitty looks like pissed.

That cat has had training

Thanks you for not ending this 10 seconds in.

Lucky cat, canine & human. nice action

The more animals we domesticate, the more fuzzy friends we get!

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Why do you have a coyote as a pet?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Two very happy animals, aww so cute

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That was more intense than 5 Gum!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Had a dog that was 1/2 coyote. Totally awesome, as long as you don't mind him digging and howling, super loyal and smart.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I think flearoy is the feather weight champion

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let me kill you!!!... With love

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Lmao... Wtf is this

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Probably the funniest game of gay chicken ever.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Everyones talking about the 2 but no ones appreciating the camera work. No spazzing or vertical 5/7 good job luv u long time

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The kitty has to be fierce! Look at that size difference.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Love how the dog keeps lying down to show he's submissive and all the cat sees is the perfect chance to strike.

Obligatory: "username checks out"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love how the cat attacks right as the coyote looks away.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Cats are badass.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looking away in a tense situation=sign of submission. So essentially the coyote said "I'm chill" by looking away. The cat thought otherwise

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

No, the cat is playing too.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why do you have a pet Coyote?

8 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 2

Asking the real questions here.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Abandoned pup more than likely. Kind of like with dingoes in Australia.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

Dingoes don't tend to domesticate this well. I knew a guy who had a dingo rescue property. They would throw the ball to the dingo and it 1/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

would chase it. Sometimes it would bring it back. Sometimes it would disappear with it for 4 days.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That was a good movie. Not Seinfeld but the one with Meryl Streep

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they domesticate very well if acquired at a young age, but are illegal in some states

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 4

I think I read somewhere that coyotes and wolves "set" their species-friendliness at a much younger age than dogs.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

IIRC wolf/ coyote socialization stages are between 2-6 weeks, and they need a lot more contact than a domesticated puppy would. >

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They mostly rely on smell than hearing or sight for the first few weeks of this stage, as well, making it even more difficult to socialize.>

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In contrast, a regular dog enters this stage at about 4 weeks old and primarily relies on sight, making this task quite a bit easier.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How anything is still intact at the place of whoever that is, I'll never understand.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What I love about this, is you can tell from both of their body language that they really are just playing around, at least the big guy is..

8 years ago | Likes 1041 Dislikes 6

The cats tail shows that he/she isn't angry and that maybe the cat is playing rough but it's like a quarter of the size of the coyote.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cats can be hard to read when they're relatively idle or just staring at things but there's a world between aggressiveness and playfulness.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

And the humans moved all the furniture to let it happen. Good humans.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Eh, cats tail doesn't look like a pipe cleaner. Seems to be on the level, just going in a bit hard.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I love the part where he pokes the cat's butt to get him to keep going.

8 years ago | Likes 157 Dislikes 1

I ♥'d this part where he's in a submissive position reaching out w/ his paw...

8 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

Yeah, though as soon as that coyote turned its head that cat when HAM.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cats don't roughhouse. Jackson Galaxy taught me that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The small guy is clearly playing, I couldn't say about the big beast.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The cat too, you can read it from multiple things.

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Ears aren't flat, tail isn't bushy...its not doing the I sit here and arch my back and hiss/swat at you pose.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lack of blood streaming from the coyote's face is a big clue.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

the fact that s/he's chasing the coyote instead of trying to run away, is fairly strong evidence that the cat is playing too

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Or possibly ticked off, but still feeling perfectly safe smacking his friend around a bit when he deserves it.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The third pounce when Wile E just mops the floor with Flearoy has me laughing to the point of tears every time.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

that cat is fucking insane

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wish people would stop romantizing wild animals as pets

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 15

Thank you. There are lots of wolf dog mixes in the rescues.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

But...that's how we got pets...

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

I agree with you and I am grateful our ancestors had excellent foresight to domesticate dogs and kitties!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha awesome!!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

As long as humans continue to own cameras, and animals continue to be cute, that's never going to happen.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

So you're against pet gerbils, fish or dwarf hamsters?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a small fish. He ate my cat, dog and horse, turns out it's a great white shark. I don't let him play with my other pets anymore.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

What I mean is Coyotes might be unpredictable; cute and cuddily, sure, but they have not had aggressive behavior selectively bred out

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Domestication =/= having aggression removed.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As cute as anything I've seen in a long time.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I swear Cyotes are part cat.

8 years ago | Likes 141 Dislikes 5

I gotta say he looks 99.99% common or garden Canis lupus familiaris to me.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When born and bred in captivity, yes. Otherwise... not to much..

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Coyotes are wild animals, so of course their reflexes are are faster than the average domesticated dog.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

More like fox + wolf

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I actually own a coyote dog (Domesticated dog breed with a coyote, idk what generation) and she definitely acts like a cat.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So in many states the vet legally has to put a dog down if he suspects coyote or wolf DNA. Have u had any trouble taking care of it?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No, she only slightly looks like one. No issues or anything. Shes probably really far away from being an actual coyote.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are what you eat.

As a guy who lives out in the country in prime coyote territory, I've lost many good farm cats to those mangy bastards.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I usually support killing cyotes on sight. Lost at least half a dozen cats to the bastards

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Supposedly that just encourages them to breed more.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

wouldnt let one near my cat, or any pet for that matter, coyotes can be fucking vicious in a heartbeat

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 6

It all depends on how they were raised. Same goes with any animal.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The ones near our house have been known to try and trick small dumb dogs into trying to play with them. And then trying to eat them :(

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Yeah... One killed my sister's cat.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

A family friend of outs found two coyote pups from when they were about 4 weeks old. Mom (so they believed) was found about 50 feet away 1/3

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Dead. They brought them in and raised them as pets. We all thought they were crazy but I had the joys of meeting and playing with them 2/3

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

They were honestly the sweetest and most hilarious wanna be doggos I've ever met. JUST like owning a legitimate dog. They lived to be 3/4

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Around 12 years old. They were beautiful and never ONCE showed any signs of aggression whatsoever. 4/4
