I used to work at a state park would anyone want to hear my work stories

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They do it to get more fake internet points

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And if we don't want we just swipe. No bad feelings.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hate that i associate the Genie with the android game, "Witch Trainer" instead of prince Ali, noble is he. I'm such a deviant. Nws.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well making those posts takes a long time, it's not really worth the effort if you don't know if anybody will even look at it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh people can be serious assholes on here. Pisting stuff you care about exposes you. Maybe its easier to test the waters.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I son't have any work stories, but i could upload a couple of pics of what i do.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh look, there are the infinity stones

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you interested in my witty reply to this? If so, let me know and I'll post it up

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Ya if we not interest we'd down vote it. That's what the voting system is for. Dumb fucks

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this pic from infinity wars?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Looks like Thanos has a new enemy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you got something to say, say it. don't ask for permission.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Double points this way

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be fair I wouldn't want to spend 30-60 minutes creating a post that people might not be interested in

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've thought about doing work stories but what's the point if no-one will see them?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have the exact opposite problem, people ask me for work stories and i'm really quite sure you all wouldn't like them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seems like a wasted wish to me

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, I once posted a guide on building a roleplay server on Discord and only got -2 out of it, so I understand why you'd ask first.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look they already waste their time at their job do you think wanna waste more time writing shit for people who MAY not care?

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

Pretty much this. Not just time but energy too. and then feel terrible if no one ends up interested after all that.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They don't want to waste their time if no one wants to hear about it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did that, people weren't interested :(

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I say this every time someone posts this. How else would they whore for more fake internet points?

8 years ago | Likes 131 Dislikes 12

Making a post like this one?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I remember comments under a post like this mentioning people asked and didn't get points, so didn't have to spend hours writing up posts.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I've been debating doing one for awhile but didn't know if there was any interest, I don't want to waste time if no one wants to read it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Oh wait. They'll make Part 1 and Part 2 and so on

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

Or possibly, they know how fickle imgur can be and don't want to waste time writing it all out for it to die in usersub

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 7

Yeah...but that's a risk you take when posting. Don't whore for points. Just post it like everyone else

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Really, there's more to it than that. With the request comes greater awareness, meaning those posts aren't lost in the depths of Usersub.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My problem is the people who do awesome work stories and dont tag the thing with them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ehh... Tags aren't really handled well by the community to begin with. It's something I feel the moderators could regulate more strongly.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it's more like they don't want to spend all the time to make a post if no one gives a fuck

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

But if their stories aren't good, the post won't make it far, so why ask? Just gather good stories, write them well, hope for the best

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly. Imgur isn't exactly the best place for an AMA thread.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got 1,000 upvotes almost on a comment asking if people would be interested. Spent an hour making the post, got 15 upvotes.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Why does genie have the infinity stones?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Magic, duh.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know how but whyyy? He’s already got magic, now he’s just being greedy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well they do look pretty neat.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 222 Dislikes 7

I've seen work story posts die in usersub before. It's a lot of work that simply got ignored. Not every set of work stories is interesting.

Writing a lot of stories is hard work. If people aren't interested there's no point.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I got 1000 points almost on a comment asking if people wanted a post. Spent an hour making the post. Got 15 points.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

But people might be interested until they read your post...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, yeah. You go ahead and write a 2000-word essay complete with pictures for Imgur before you know anybody's even gonna want it.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

How about this. Do you want nursing home, army medic, banquet server, or fry cook in a college town stories?

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

Alllllll of em

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What about retail?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've been in a fire fight. Well I was in a fire. Well I was...fired. from and exciting fry cook opportunity

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yes. Why not? It's fun hearing stories about other people's lives. Just not in person.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's all too people-y in person

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's rude to walk away when they get boring in-person. Also, storytelling is a much neglected skill these days.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Agreed.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work at █████████ as a ████ ███████ and my daily routine is to prevent ██████ from destroying the ███████████. Wanna hear more?

8 years ago | Likes 157 Dislikes 0

That's what scp 2000 is for.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

It's fine, the world ended multiple times already, nothing we can't handle.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I immediately highlighted this with my mouse hoping to reveal the hidden spoiler text but was disappointed. I read a lot of Steam reviews.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pay $10 for the work story package!

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Hey! Class D personnel shouldn't be on the internet! Back to the cells!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heh... starfish opener. *giggle*

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was all perfectly innocent when I decided on "starfish". Somewhere in the process of deciding what next, I turned evil.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty cunning.
