I got my copy to run again after removing about 10 mods and fiddling with settings for 30+ mins. I love the game, but it can be such a pain.

Modding a game is 10% playing and 90% troubleshooting my friend. I have over 150 installed and then realizing one of them causes a CTD sucks

That's essentially what happened to mine. It would exit the launcher, play the Bethesda animation, and then crash almost immediately.

It means you were missing a master file. One of your mods was dependent on another that wasn't installed. Install LOOT and TES5edit.

If you already mod then do yourself a favor and just skip it. What it will be can be easily achieved with a few graphics mods.
