Long time lurker

This is my dad and I. He's a long time lurker, as am I. (He actually got me on this site)

Today is his birthday and I'd love to see his face if he saw himself on the front page. (Most of our conversations start with "did you see that post on imgur?")

He taught me guitar and loves awesome music (Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, NIN, etc). He's pretty much my best friend. Last year he took quite ill and ended up in hospital for 5 weeks.

He suffered from respiratory failure (he does have a hereditary illness) and was quite weak, but now he's stronger than ever and I couldn't be more proud of him. Happy birthday dad!

Edit: Just for some more back story, Dad is stable as far as health goes. He suffers from alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. In order to return to full health, he would require a double lung transplant, but he is strong as far as his mental health is concerned. He has been sick as long as I can remeber. I have an older brother (who nearly shat himself over this post being on front page) who is 23, and I am turning 21 this year. He's a big geek too, so we're an odd bunch. Most of my childhood memories involve quoting south park, simpsons, robot chicken or any other show we were watching at the time. Dad (or Dadass) is Don, I am Sarah and my brother is Matthew, and we all thank-you hugely and appreciate all of your kind words. Much love to you, Imgur community!
