I went back to what made me the happiest. I worked at a bike shop in highschool. Going back to wrenching on bikes.

I left the army at 40, and started my own business, doing what I did in the army. It wasn't a great success, but I liked it. 1/2

I was a dental technician; made false teeth, crowns, bridges. I had completed 19 years in the army when an opportunity to take over 1/2

2/2 a laboratory in a nearby town. Managed to get a year's leave, so I had a fallback if it didn't work out. Never looked back.
