My life since I was 21.. I'm 37 now lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you don't even need to be a sexy anime girl for this to happen to you either

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Navigate this all the fucking time.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

war.... war never changes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ugh that is the woooorst! D:

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The struggle is real.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

every. freakin. morning.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup, every time... sucks big time!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just sleep in mine. Weird habit that I can’t break.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

How do you not break your glasses?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That's why I only buy shirts that are good for wiping my glasses with.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have this problem every freaking time

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When my bf kisses me while wearing glasses, he always smears them. I don't fucking even know with what part of his face.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did this shit this morning...

8 years ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 2

I don't close my glasses up ever. Reduces the risk if you're trained to grab one of the arms.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You ever put your glasses somewhere else and have to play the "which blur is the right blur" game? ugggh

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Every damn morning, especially when I knock them on the floor in my groggy fumbling.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My glasses are the only thing making me from looking like I’m a 12 year old.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All it does is make me look like a nerdy 12 year old.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i think i look better without my glasses. but my vision is also worse so i dont know which to trust...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rolls over, bumps table, glasses now on floor. Usually under the bed or table.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeeeeepp

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to boop my nose in ex’s glasses. Boy did she get mad. Never had glasses but pretty good in cleaning them...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

FUCKING SAME!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry I don't have this problem

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then you have me, who can manage to get my glasses smudged and dirty without even touching them. I don't know how, but it just happens.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The struggle is real.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What kind of nublet glasses-wearer pleb would grab the lenses? I haven't done that since I was like 12 years old with mine.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nonco makes the best kancolle comics.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haruna is ok

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On the face or in the case.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What?! I've worn glasses for 25 years, and in a quarter of a century I have never done this ONCE.

8 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 8

I think there may be a misunderstanding. I thought she put the glasses on wrong but the point of the comic was the fingerprint on the glass

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You’ve never gotten fingerprints on your glasses?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I keep mine in a case if they are on my face. Shields from unintentional finger prints fairly well.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oops, not on my face.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, how do you even manage to do this?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Wait, I just realized its about the fingerprints, not putting it on backwards...

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

OOOHHHHHH I also thought it was someone somehow managing to put them on backwards

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Then you are either #1 not tired enough, or #2 not visually impaired enough. I did this all the fucking time before i started using lenses.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

Or he actually pays attention to what he is doing.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

personally i know where on my desk and how i left them the night prior. i grab them by the middle thing without even looking.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I can barely see without my glasses and yet this has never happened to me. That's great, but I wish this was not the one thing I excel at :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The trick is to orient them with the legs towards you. And in my case, set them on my keyboard so the arms are exactly the same place.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ive worn glasses nearly 40 years and have literally NEVER done this. Always reached for the frame...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you don't get the habit early, you just grab them from wherever, especially when you are still waking up

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im sorry, but I cannot believe this. As frustrating as smudges are on glasses, I cant believe anyone would get used to that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not that you get used to it, you're half awake, can't see and grab for your glasses and then you smudged them. So now you clean it

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

still, even half awake or dead tired, never done this.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then you sir/madam are lucky. I'm too blind to actually see them (before surgery) so when I reach, its a guess if I'll get the frame or lens

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Used to have that problem. Then I decided to get Lasik.

8 years ago | Likes 385 Dislikes 13

For the sake of consistency, every time I wake up I poke myself in the eye.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got Lasik, but now 10 years later I'm wearing glasses again.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then there's the sub population that's so blind we can't have Lasik

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work at a LASIK clinic. If anyones interested in some answers feel free to DM me.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sweet. Just got PRK 3 weeks ago. Vision is still coming in, but good enough right now. Ya'll are awesome

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Saw an ad that said “Lasic from $800”. With my prescription and eye problems it’s around 10k. Bye-bye.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But I can't because that won't fix any of my problems

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I too had this problem but I just put my eyes out with broch pins

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same here! Woo lazors!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

-10.25 and -10.75

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would you consider being a blue haired anime girl a problem

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm actually looking into it this year. Any tips?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone I know who got Lasik needs reading glasses to barely read a menu now so no ty.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you get lasik later in life, you can get monovision. I did after 30 years of wearing glasses to function. Won't need them anymore ever.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i cant keep my eyes open even when im doing eye drops :(

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had that problem and was able to get through it, though I needed a Vallium. You get used to the medicated eye drops.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

im just not willing to risk my eyesight for it. glasses arent that big of a hassle compared to something going wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had a panic attack during my first go round and the staff recognized it and pulled it before anything went bad. From everything that I /1

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

understand, it's pretty safe at this point and the worst story was someone having a lot of pain, but recovered from it after a few days 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

cLasik solution

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got PRK, best $4500 I’ve ever spent

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Careful, Imgur will start an outrage bandwagon accusing you of being the new “vegans”, “crossfitters” etc.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My gf can't get it, lenses are too thin. She's basically Velma from scooby doo.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jinkies!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me too! Second best thing I ever did for myself.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What was the first?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gastric sleeve surgery.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My godmother did that. Congratulations and it sounds like all is well with that

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My eyes are so bad the docs say that all Lasik would do is lessen my lens prescription.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I did it so I'd function without glasses if necessary. In an emergency or permanent emergency situation like end of life as we know it. 1/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Reading, coding & driving w/o glasses was secondary. Many people wear glasses for those things after. It was like being freed from prison.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What is this, a customer testimonial on an infomercial?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Annoyance of having glasses in the morning.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Look at Mr. Moneybags over here!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're like $400-500 per eye where I live. Sometimes discounted too.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...they're like, 2k/eye here :(

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here it's cheaper than what I paid for my [nice] prescription glasses for my big head.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is a MUCH higher chance of becoming blind then.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Used to have that problem. Then I killed myself.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

How's the other side treating you?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You should start a company.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was gonna get Lasik but then I realized I'd be able to see my ugly mug in the mirror in the morning so nooooooope to that.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Listen, you're mug is only ugly if you look at it that way. Besides, you mostly pour coffee in :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's worse, people would be able too. I've got baller glasses, that make my face look less shit. Not giving them up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I prefer having the option of not looking at other people's faces. Everything's a happy little blur.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don’t they have to peel your eye open still to do that? No thanks, I’ll just put on glasses.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s painless.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but they still clip a piece of metal to your eyeball and then slice off the top layer into a flap right?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They use a tool to keep your eye open and place a tool that payed over your eye and use a blade to slice the layer of the eyeball. No pain

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It isn’t the pain. It is the eyeball slicing.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes until afterwards.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had zero pain after.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It probably depends on the level of correction and specific procedures. Even with computer guided lasers some are more invasive.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My eye doctor says I should wait until my eyes calm tf down to get it cause my prescription is liable to jump around a bit until I’m at 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 122 Dislikes 0

yeah mine have started to stabilize

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Until you're at half of what???

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Half a tank of gas.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Least 25, maybe a bit older. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 0

Just wait. I waited too for the exact same reasons.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My eye doc told me the same thing in my early 20s. Almost 33 now and my eyes are STILL getting worse.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They want you to be at an age where your eyes have stopped changing. So you won’t waste your money and it goes away when your eyes change

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

That’s exactly it. Kind of a bummer but at the same time don’t wanna blow thousands of dollars only to have my eyes get worse again :P

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Lasik has been as cheap as $250 an eye around me.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

After 25 you just start slowly dieing.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

26 here, you're about half correct.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

30, already dead.
