Diphtheria and Tetanus Side Effects

I was looking through this information sheet for the diphtheria and tetanus vaccines and I came across this section. I'm not really sure what to think about it and I wanted your input. It's on the FDA website if somebody wants to take a look

Interesting.

It's the paragraph above the bold "reporting of adverse effects" header

Listed due to 'seriousness or frequency' (seriousness here), with a reminder the reporting size is too small to establish a 'causal' link.

Meaning: 'We're listing it here, but it's entirely likely it has nothing to do with this medication.'

The FDA has to list any "effect" that's reported to them, even if it's bullshit

How would you know though...

Placebo effect is common in medical studies. You'd be amazed at what the mind can do to the body all on its own.

The question is: what are you trying to ascertain with regards to the information?

I just wanted to know what you thought lol

I think that the information is easy to misconstrue for most people. All drugs/vaccines have study effects in their pharmacology, but 1/2

it's not easy discerning what is relevant. 'Correlation is not causation' but all data is recorded, links are often impossible to establish.
