Ended a 3.5 year relationship tonight with a very good man because it just wasn't right. I couldn't see myself marrying him, and I couldn't see a full future with him. This is the first time I've had to end things with someone I still love, and it's a bad day... I was cleaning my house and drinking wine when I came across this card from Imgur Secret Santa 2015. Figured it was as good of a night as any to open it. THANK YOU, IMGUR, for being there for me for laughing, learning, comforting words, and the occasional skin-crawling post.

I'm not "in love" with him, as a lover. I love him as a person. Idk, hard to explain but I love him like my best friends, not a husband.
