That is a domestic cat begging for food. This is a wild animal that has been removed from it's parents as a status symbol for rich assholes.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

How do you know that? Not saying your right or wrong just curious

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The gaudy curtains and the guy wearing armani, the echoes of marble floors. This is someone's palace. Not a place for a lion cub.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Other than the Armani comment I can see where you’re coming from.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What is that kitten doing in those surroundings?

5 years ago | Likes 306 Dislikes 5

Being used to seduce young vulnerable people into threesomes?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chilling

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

New MGM recording.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's a casting couch

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That's quite the pussy you've got there

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly my thoughts. I love him so much but why is he there instead of a natural environment? I hate people who use animals as toys.

5 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 14

A lot of people legit rescue them after poachers kill the majority of their pride. Not saying that’s what’s happened but just a thought.

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

Get off your high horse. Could he so many reason why it's in that setting before you assume find out. :)

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 20

So many reasons including tiger King, drug bosses etc . . .

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Not a high horse. This is an actual worldwide problem.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 4

I do agree. But when I've also watch docs about tigers being raised in keepers homes after rejection. Just one of many reasons it could 1/

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not be a negative situation. But they are brandishing it as such with out knowing just a matter of opinion. I hope you can see my point too

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where I used to work the zoo brought in a baby leopard to a large meeting. I think it was to promote awareness for something. Funding, maybe

5 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

Having worked for a nature oriented non-profit, just about any indoor display is designed to generate contributions.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Point is don't just assume a random idiot has an exotic animal. I mean it could very well be the case here but there are other possibilities

5 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

I hear you, but this isn't how you're supposed to treat a wild animal. Even at zoos, the only human contact should be the vet.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Sadly that's not always an option. Between mothers that abandon their young to rescues of illegally kept animals. There are many time a 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

zoo must hand rear an animal. It's isn't the best option but sometimes it's the only option. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's really only if you're trying to rehabilitate them for eventual release back into the wild.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually (pushes up glasses) the more contact they get from humans the easier they are too work with.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So there vet doesn't have to sedate them for EVERY little problem and exam. More handleable/socialized = less risky for everyone.
