Everybody got so hung up on how demanding Crysis was on the hardware of the time, but I loved the game for just being ridiculously fun. IMO, the modern Far Cry games don't measure up to Crysis 1.
I'm not gonna defend Crysis 2 though, except to say it had a bitching menu soundtrack.

It was the first game I played where, as you walked through leaves on a bush they moved as you passed through them.

Honestly I really liked crysis 2... Please don't hurt me.

The main gripe I had with Crysis 2 was that they made it a lot more linear and simplified. Only 1 possible path through a city, etc.

True that... but i felt i was kind a dishonered-like, as in yes you have to go this way, but there is multiple ways of getting there.
