I’m starting to lose my mind! I’ve been trying to create a floor plan for my future house that I want to build but I can’t seem to get anything right. I’ve started over at least 30 times. The programs I’ve been using are impossible to use.

Buy a drafting board, paper, pencils, and a set of good drafting scales and edges?

I can tell you sweet home 3D has annoying controls,but is quite nice..

Think you your head, plan out hkw many bed/baths you want. Plan of you want a garage, a kitchen, a kitchen with dinnong, etc.

Possibly, get a video game, house flipper on steam, and attempt to design through that. Thus, you cant edit the exterior walls so

you just find the "shape" of the house you want and go to town on making the interior.

Hey, don't sweat it. This can take months; even deciding how to plan individual rooms is a nightmare.

I drew about 50 floor plans for the place Im building and throughout the build its changed about 10 times. Stick with it. It'll be worth it.
