The desktop

The standard "Folder" desktop style

Amarok

The default (and best, in my opinion) music player

Dolphin file manager

Used to browse the stuff you have on your computer or network. I made it so it uses a Windows 7 border style.

Coppying

self explanatory...

Why I did this? Because I start using the computer having a windows operating system and later on I grew to like the W7 interface. When I made the switch to linux I missed it and now I made this customization to help those that feel the way I do. And because I can :D

How to:
- get the qtcurve style, colors and background image from here: http://goo.gl/wPrVsi
- install qtcurve
- configure it withh the downloads above
- get smaragd
- enable it from system settings
- get your favourite emerald theme from here: http://goo.gl/Om2Rpk (they are in that archive under /files/emerald/decorations/themes)
- apply these icons http://goo.gl/c2V7CS
DONE!
