For everybody out there that's into classic cars!

That's nice. I prefer a '68 with the open grille and Bullitt taillights, but this is nice.

Read about this slick restored here. http://www.carscoops.com/2017/10/1969-dodge-charger-defector-is-hemi.html

The fat-ass tires on any muscle car just do it for me

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh my fucking lord...this is work of art

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Perfection.

I wouldnt kick it out bed for doing burnouts.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But why an automatic? WHY!!!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Drag strip focus + you were a baller if you could afford an auto in that era. I'm ok with automatic muscle cars.

Sexiest thing I've seen on imgur today.

Chur

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree but if it was standard it'd be much more sexy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed

I don’t know much about cars but I’ve got a lot of friends stuck on classic Coke.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice drive it like you stole it

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not thrilled about the drop stance, but daaaaaamn. That's hot looking none the less.

If I wanted to see porn I would've chosen a different site to go to, shame on you OP!

It's gorgeous. It's big. It's loud. It's badass. It makes that superb rumbling sound. But man, it's thirsty. (10MPG / 27 L/100km)

I can't afford that, not on my salary.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i prefer the split grill Charger. i'm guessing it's a '68 or '69

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's seriously cool but i'd rather have me a '68 with a big block 440 in

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a huge fan of the rims but everything else is flawless! Can't beat a classic mopar! Mopar=more power!!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Mopar or no car!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Having owned a classic charger, Mopar = more parts. Didn't matter, loved that car.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hear you. My family rebuilt a 68 from the ground up, stupid expensive but damn was it sexy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

73 440 6 pack, yellow with a black vinyl top. Sold the car and paid for my entire college debt. Would have much rather had the debt.

Is that a modern 392 HEMI under the hood? Sweeeet Charger.

8 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. I have the same motor in my 2016 Challenger. It's a beast!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My guess would be modern suspension as well so not technically a “classic”

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Nah. You can do a solid rear axel on that. Might need to change the driveshaft. Depends on the trans, not the engine

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

That's exactly what i was thinking

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

That's a fun conversion

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's a 392 "HEMI", not really a hemi though. Mopar hasn't made a real hemi since 71.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Fun fact, the early 90s Lexus SC400 was a true hemi v8. A lot of cars are. New Dodges aren't though.

I love the subtle exterior tweaks to this car like removing the side marker lights and the custom grille badging.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Would've shaved the door handles. But that's just me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im not that knowledgeable so.. What does it mean to shave the door handles? None of the Gillette ads have really covered that..

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lmao. It means to remove the exterior handles and cover and paint over the holes. Creates a smoother cleaner look. IMO anyway.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah. I assume that's why newer vehicles have inset handles. With shaved handles, how do you open the door? There's still a lock mechanism

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ya. It's usually an electronic solenoid placed in the door and actuated with a key fob or hidden switch. Look up some pics. It's a cool look
