This hit deep, more like the lack of time to invest in games.

Yeah, the Hitman just came out (I think). I may get around to buying it, whatever. I wouldn’t have slept back in the day.
Fastjack2056
You might also check out "The Outer Wilds", a simple game done really well.
RailRabbit
My video game interents changed as I got older. I can't do the epic RPG adventures anymore. Now I play a few short matches of something
CouldntCakeLess
Relatable. Very much so.

27 here and I'm just getting back into them. The quality of gameplay and story lines have gone wayy up in the last 20 years.
Pengo2001
48 here. Retired last year and (due to Corona) spent most of my time gaming.

Pfft. Pick up new hobbies, Sure. But video gaming is healthy. As with most things - in moderation.
I still play, not as much as I used to, but still do. Just now I play w my sons. Currently working Diablo3 season Barbarian w my 14 year old
jamsplodge
41 here, just started Xenoblade Chronicles. Is good!
Good games are still worth it. I really liked "Horizon: Zero Dawn", the story of a simple dinosaur-robot hunter trying to make her way.
axtonthecomando55
Board games time.
The graphics are crap though
Drasas
I feel this.
Fuzzynubz
Early 40s here. I still get at least an hour in every day or two but not the marathons I used to
RiaWeatherwax
/1 Same here. Got two 5 year olds. Still able to play but not as long as before. Remembering playing CIV4 with friends. Squinting my eyes
/2 at the sudden sunlight and birds chirping outside. We just wanted to make one more turn...
LaserTurboWolf
Seek new hobbies, sure, but don't give up on something because of an irrational stigma placed by an older generation.
No stigma. Just not interested much anymore.

There's a difference between not having time and not enjoying them. They just feel shallow and pointless to me now. Frivolous
I just keep getting the feeling of I’ve done this before.
Me too, although that's on top of what I was talking about.
I fill the same way about them being pointless.

Personally, i feel that the games themselves arent as enjoyable as they used to be. Too much effort focused on graphics and voice actors >

Damn.... Was Cyberpunk that bad?
Haven’t played it.

1 Cyberpunk was an awesome game. Glitches ( on cpu) weren't that bad, mostly funny. 1 crash in 120 hours of gameplay. Everymission had the
BrawndoTheThirstMutilatorIsWhatPlantsCrave
cpu glitches? what?
BigUglyBear
Played it on ps5, no problems other than funny glitches. 91 hours for my first playthrough, plan on doing more later.
Option to attack from many different directions and a solid story. Everything I've come to expect from cdpr.
HalloIamherenow
Cyberpunk is great! Assuming you aren't trying to play it on a PS4 or Xbox One
Dinos91
It runs good on my PS4, and it's a refurbish from best buy
From what I'm hearing it's just a Deus Ex then....
I'd say that is a solid comparison. But saying JUST a deus ex is a little unfair not only to deus ex but cyberpunk as well.
Actually compared to the 8 years of ever increasing promises from cyberpunk, I disagree.
