In case you needed to know

Keep all your remotes together

Why just cover your head when you can cover your whole body

No one will ever know!

Finally, the ability to take a 360 degree photo

The new Apple iDrop

For when it's going to rain but you've also got a super important meeting

Back scratcher coordinator

For a bit of privacy

A baggy with fake mood spots so no one steals your sandwich

Sometimes putting a hand up to your forehead is just too much effort

Cover up those embarrassing anuses

Maybe it's maybelline

Noodle fan

Umbrellas for shoes

Butter stick

Child labour

For picking up a centimetre of dirt

I don't even know what this is supposed to do

.

No more rummaging for tissues in your bag!

the frilly thing around the girl's face is to keep hair out of her noodles.

Judging by the pictures, these were invented in the bubble era where Japan had too much money to waste on their hands

Actually Adlers book is about reading critically and is a useful read if you pursue philosophy. He also wrote a book called how to speak and

The lipstick one actually seems like it would be helpful.

How can you show the handerpants but not the undercap?!?

"How to read a book" is about how to be a GOOD analytical reader, and talks about being WELL read vs. being widely read. It's a great 1/2

Danger Dolan!! I haven't watched in a while did Shima ever come back?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It keeps long hair from going into the soup or getting in the way of eating.

None of these are pointless inventions.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Except the handerpants.

Now wear all the wearables at once. You are now the ultimate lifeform.

Bought handerpants for my grandpa a couple years back. Classic

True story... when me and my friends were younger we also came up with the butter stick idea, but then realised the japanese already did it.

No but seriously, I want "battleship coordinates" to become a thing, so I can say "what's that thing at C6 on that pic?" and people get it.

The one you don't understand is likely for keeping hair out of your soup.

i believe that it's a repurposing of a thing for kids to keep shampoo from their eyes as parents wash their hair. normally worn like a hat.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

would actually find that kinda useful at times....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I souppose that seems like a reasonable estimation of its function

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

I think it was originally one of those eye protectors for babies when you wash their head

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought it was a splash guard

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Or keeping the soup out of your hair.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
