Always wondered how they got those holes.

Holy shit! Front page....

Send 'em boobs

Edit 2:
Imgur sent me a msg saying I forgot to mark this post mature?!?!

Are you serious?

Step 1. Take a perfectly good pair of jeans

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And thats how you get a regular ol plumbus

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sure as night follows day. Once everyone has ruined their jeans, pristine, dark Levis will be back in vogue.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It still amazes me that people actually pay money for pre destroyed jeans....stupid!

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This angers me on a lot of levels.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

.I love to shame people and tell them if they got a better paying job they could afford a pair of pants w/o holes in them.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I told my wife buy the cheaper good pair and I'll rip them for her

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I bought some nice jeans that had some very small "wear" marks. The tiny little marks grew in to massive holes in 3 weeks. I was furious.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

They were $50 from a good brand. The little marks are designed to get bigger on their own really quickly so you can "wear" them yourself.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This is really distressing

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Rancher here... Have I got a proposition for you!!!

7 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

No I will not have sex with your cattle while you watch and rub your belly button. Now stop asking, it's not worth the price!

7 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

Same. Why are all ranchers so obsessed with that?

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Because all that meat pounding tenderizes the beef, silly.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Touche

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What a f*^#ing waste.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That must be a good workout

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

“I’ve got a solution for sweatshops! Air conditioning!

7 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 3

"Problem solved"

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That one dude is wearing a winter jacket.... you think he wants AC?

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

The guy behind him is wearing a thin sweater though so I have no clue what temp it is there.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It might be more helpful if more people like you educated yourselves

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 14

We're trying to make light of a dark situation. It's a great way to actually get people to inform themselves about such issues.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Buying jeans with holes like these is beyond stupid

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 6

Ahh but selling jeans with holes is pure fucking genius. Actually I have a couple pairs I can sell on eBay brb

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It was 2005 and I was 16 years old in my parents basement with an old pair of jeans, a drill with a hard wire head, and time. Did the same

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

As a big name jean company/department store for wayyyyy less money

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Man, and here I thought that they paid people to walk around and wear them.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Everybody working there has nice jeans on.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Huge fire hazard

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

So is the chain across the door, but how else are you gonna make distressed jeans?

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Distress the people making them!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And breathing hazard. Many people who make jeans in 3rd world countries die of asphyxiation because of felted lungs from long term 1/2

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

"felted lungs" sounds absolutely horrifying.

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I Googled for you, but all I got was an Etsy shop selling felted organs. I don't understand nothin' no more.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

2/2 inhalation of small amount of mixed Fibre. Either from cutting and sewing or this nonsense in the video

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Friend in the industry used to oversea a Levi factory in Mexico and the new owners were telling stories before it was brought up to code

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oh look! Jeans! I should get so---wait...What are you doing? THEY WERE PERFECT!!! WHY???!!!

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

One word: fashion.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's hand made for you

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Those poor workers. Fuck.

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Hey, I just met you.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

and this is crazy..

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I bought pre- ripped jeans. Call me lazy.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I would pay these people a day of their wages to hear their opinion of Americans after doing this all day.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I honestly wonder if the facemasks are provided by the company or if they had to buy them themselves.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Automation is killing everyone, they used to employ 50 people to wear them while they did this but then along came leg inflation machines.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why are they fucking up those perfectly fine denims?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Some chick needs her jeans pre ripped so she can say she's had them for 10 years

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

'Fashion'

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

cause idiots with too much money will buy them

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

To increase their cost, while lowering their durability. Works out well for them.

7 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

Ayy I never thought about the decreasing durability end of things. So it's really a win - win for them.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I never understood why anyone would buy pre-damaged pants.. Or any clothes like that.

7 years ago | Likes 102 Dislikes 10

Whoever downvotes you is more than likely a useless human being +1

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 12

fashion

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Some people shop for function, some people shop for fashion. That's the thing with style. Everyone has their own.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Exactly, one of the stupider fashion trends.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or any clothes at all, really.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

People buy pre-distressed guitars too.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

my brother bought his 2 kids work gloves. They never do work. Maybe distressed jeans are like a participation trophy. I had a pair of /2

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

jeans I ripped with a chain saw. I took was lucky and only took 12 stitches, the jeans turned into shorts. Who knew they would have /2

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

been fashionable. If the blood washed out.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More money than sense

7 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 5

I have more money than sense and still don't do that.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol! They're downvoting you, but you're exactly right!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Money can buy a lot of things, but it can’t buy common sense.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got some 'weathered' jeans because the denim was softer, and they were a lot more comfortable than normal ones like that. Only $30, though

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was at the library and my 1 year old kept pointing at those holes in this woman's pants and babbling loudly at her. You know it's bad when

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 8

even babies tell you that your pants are broken.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 9

Or some people like that type of pants and you and your kid can let people wear it

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Yes, my baby and I both proposed new legislation to outlaw holes in pants. Thank you for keeping freedom alive.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Dang, that's more legislation than the current administration has handled. At least, a baby wouldn't approve taking children away, probably

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

idk why I like them either, I shouldnt, but i have a couple pairs cause light distress looks alright, imo

7 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 7

maybe buy regular new pants and wear them longer?

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

I do both, but in reality pants dont rip that perfectly, you just get thigh holes

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why are you trying to change his mind? He likes it that way, why should he wear pants he doesn't like for a year until he likes em??

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 6

to save him money

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The distressed look isn't necessarily more expensive tho

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Upvoted you cause you are right but got downvoted.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Not a guy but thank you lol

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sort of always defaulting to him when I don't know the gender, but makes no difference here :)

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or, you know, do some real work a wear them out yourself and not be a poser.

7 years ago | Likes 236 Dislikes 57

Or be like, hey, those are some neat jeans, and buy whatever jeans you want.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My fiance's get eaten by battery acid all the time from work. I tell him he could sell them for hundreds :'D

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

I had similar issues with bleaching agents. That fashion didn't stick around for long enough though.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

His don't get dyed, his are completely eaten through. Gives them a very distressed look, pretty much what I see in some stores

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I should try to sell my old jeans as authentic. $1200 bucks a pair should underline the amount of authenticity put into them.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thats how all my jeans get holes. I work my way ass off.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 8

You could probably sell them for $150 a piece.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Think those are called chaps bud

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

how bad was the fart that blew a hole in your jeans

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 5

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I never understood why he was named after a car brand. It's like naming your son Toyota Caulfield.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hated that book! I read it 20 years ago and for some reason I cannot get the phrase "she was lousy with diamonds" out of my head.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nothing like an honest .25cents day's work.

7 years ago | Likes 3456 Dislikes 15

Reformation is a good brand. They are all sustainable and fair trade and great quality.

Yeah of course any work pays better than a subsistence farmer because they GASP farm only for subsistence

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Look at you Mr. Big with the whole .25 cents/hr. I gotta work 2 months just to get what you make in a day!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Look at you, Mr wads of cash. I've been working my entire life and only earned half of what you make in a month!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

nice

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Men pilates

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd imagine that kind of work gets 1500RMB/month. No days off is 50RMB/day. That converts to $7.77/day at current exchange rates.

7 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 4

Per The Economist, average factory work in China pays $27.50 per day, so I probably lowballed it by a lot.

7 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 2

Still, I make 27.40 USD/hr (at todays exchange rate) and it's not even a high earning job.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 11

That’s what, $60k a year in USD? Not too bad - where do you live? I guess that would make more a difference.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Denmark, so full time is 37 h/wk, 5+1 weeks vacation time (i get 12.5% of what I earned last year paid out as vacationpay).

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's grown at 10% for quite a long time now.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

+1 for the extra research and source siting.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not necessarily in China, anymore

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That seems too general a figure. I imagine the people making smartphones aren't paid the same as these guys, for example.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The thing about Averages is that there are of course factories that pay much lower. So you're prob in the ball park for the common price.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean how denim stays if you don't buy them already fucked up? Yeah!

7 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 1

My husband wears work wrangled and they last about a year or 2. And he is a forklift driver. So nothing hard on pants.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine always last until I tear them on something at work. Been years since I actual manage to wear out a pair of jeans.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pre-worn prep.

7 years ago | Likes 105 Dislikes 0

I dont ever buy ripped jeans. If mine rip its from over time not this nonsense.

7 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

I 100% agree. I have earned every hole in my pants over the years
