#4 Its just nice to be part of the group. Lol

I agree with the economic crisis mentioned in meme #4 but I would remind people that the pedophile still has a 39% approval rating so a whole lot of our neighbors WANT this to continue.

This seems to demonstrate to me that a lot of those neighbors are morally bankrupt and I'm simply tired of pretending otherwise.

#3 I've seen this before, what is this image meant to convey?

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#4 maybe it's just me but there was always something telling me genX/Mil memes were not aiming right at me. And then this one drops spot on.

#4, I'm STILL waiting for that insurance break that my parents told me I would be getting at age 25.

#1 I grew up in a paper towl free household. Once in a while I will buy a roll or two as a little treat. I cherish it everytime. It's like eating dessert for breakfast. You know it's wrong but it feels so good.

#37 I’m not taking mental health advice from a guy who lived alone in the woods and sent people bombs in the mail.

5 months ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 2

Not advice but relevant.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's more of an observation than advice, but yeah. Teddy K. made (or echoed) a few good points in his writings, but those are dwarfed by his heinous acts and the terrible consequences of those acts.

#4 Now add Stagflation, the 88 crash, and the jobless recovery of 92-94 and you'd be Gen X.

#26 I can't, and I don't know why. Art is for sharing? I don't know.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because it’s good for your soul, just to create.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think there is a large subset of creative people who were abused as children, and who therefore don’t know what feels good for themselves to do. That was my case, at least. Just learning more recently what feels good and what doesn’t. I was taught to push down my own needs and that my feelings weren’t real, didn’t matter. So I stopped feeling them. Plus autism makes you a bit blind to yourself, so you don’t even know what you need to do to feel better. It’s not easy. But I’m getting there.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It feels good to share. But that is ideally secondary. Making something, expressing something, doing it for your own (for example emotional) benefit, that matters. It is said artists are more productive and produce better results, if they can follow their intrinsic motivation. It is actually alright advice, but put very short and ofc many do not have the luxury of getting anything extra out of their intrinsically motivated art.

Yes.

#37 I'm not saying it's necessarily wrong, but the source of this quote does draw its wisdom into question.

5 months ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 2

Very well put!

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a Psychologist, I’ve got to say this is absolute bullshit. We offer a healing relationship that helps people feel less pain. I don’t guide people to any ideology or try to help them fit into a screwed up system. We work together to find a way to stop putting suffering on top of pain. Also, Ted Kazinski? Yeah, fountain of wisdom there.

A normal head shot costs around four hundred dollars, while a shot that just nicks your ear and leaves a heroic blood splash (a la Trump)? Costs 50% more.

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

"Miss me with that shit" is a way to say you're not down with it. In this instance, the pricing seems related to a game console.

Like, "$399? Hit me. $650??!?!? Nah bro miss me with that shit."

Ah, got it, thanks. I understood the Trump/Kirk part but not the $. Basically a new way to do a Drake/Kombucha girl changing her mind meme

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, season 1. If you end up watching it, don't expect the other seasons to be like this one.

5 months ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Still not bad though. S3 is pretty solid in particular

5 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yeah. Took me a while to get into it, but it was good. Felt that S2 was pretty weak, but could be due to high expectations based on S1. S4 was alright, but not a must-watch.

5 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I think S2 was a bit of a troubled production, the original pitch was that the "secret occult history of the American rail system" would be a driving part of the plot but that got dropped and it never really came together which is a shame because there were some powerhouse performances in it.
