What bothers me about the video is that he's being charged with what he did to another officer but no one comments on how he was speaking to the person that was arrested.

Turning off body cams should carry an immediate charge of "destroying evidence." Where's the 3 strikes on that?

Is demanding the other to switch iff their cameras illegal? If not, shouldnt it be?

Par 4 the course in S.FL. Sheriff, State Police and locals, it’s like a Mafia down here of ignorant white cops whose only goal is 2 bully.

Media groups have to use "allegedly" because if by some twisted stroke of luck he's found "not guilty" he can sue the fuck out of them.

Pigs will be pigs and will eat other pigs.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

other officers (perhaps caught off guard) practically not flinching. That guy needs to hear/accept feedback and work on himself cop or not

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She's got more balls than any of those cowards there. Sergent needs to smoke a fatty and chill the fuck out.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, put him down like a dog.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is a good story. Body cams for the win.

Check on that female officer in a year or so and I'm betting she will either be dead or no longer an officer

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He felt threatened!!!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Defuck the police

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

According to the article I read he is being charged with assaulting a civilian too

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

And tampering with evidence?

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yes I think he tried to delete something

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Since Yahoo blocks countries including Canada from the video, here's the youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aNtxvoBXR4

Seeing a "expert" excuse this as poor training, as it so often is, is goddamn infuriating. No amount of training fixes this person.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ACAB. No exceptions.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

The officer who pulled him away from the suspect might be a good one

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There is not good. Everyone is bad. /s

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or just wanted to make sure they didn't all end up on charges. I mean if you watch the video, right after he chokes her they say "let it be"

A cop attacking a female to show how big and strong he is...

"Grabbing"?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow, he’s a real tough guy to a handcuffed person and a female police officer who is a 1/3 his size. He’s a psycho bully.

3 years ago | Likes 121 Dislikes 0

Bullies with badges.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He’s wearing a cop uniform, so…yeah.

3 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

And not one of the male cops jumped in to assist her. Cowards.

misspelled 'police officer' in your last sentence.

people like that are completely emotionally unstable. its just a matter of time before they kill someone because they get too angry.

3 years ago | Likes 401 Dislikes 1

Matter of time? Have you seen the news lately?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They probably kill people all the time

3 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

That's on purpose no matter how much the higher ups say it isn't.

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

It's entitlement mostly. They don't NEED to control anger because they're shielded & only when this shit happens do they see consequences.

Men will literally become part of a violent police state instead of going to therapy

3 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Therapy? That's for pussies! * Beats defenceless wife, screams at innocent kids *

That's probably why they became a cop.

“allegedly”

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Everybody turn off your fucking cameras" was his immediate reaction.

3 years ago | Likes 220 Dislikes 0

It's a split second but it looks like everyone in that particular portion of the video immediately reached for the body camera and complied.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Which should be charged as destruction of evidence.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Should be immediate termination

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

"I never said fired."

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm a trucker and the company I work for has remote access dash cams in the trucks. Drivers can't turn off the camera, so why can the cops?

3 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 0

I'll grant that there's a difference between a camera in a vehicle and a camera on a person since a person can enter into sensitive 1/

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Agree with the sentiment but *significant* difference in battery needs for body worn camera and truck mounted camera.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

situations (like needing to use the bathroom). However, I think those instance should still be handled remotely. LEO needs to take a 2/

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

leak? Report that you need a personal break for X minutes and have the cam turned off remotely. Is there still room for abuse? Yep, but 3/

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I still think it would be better than just letting them turn them off whenever they feel like it. 4/4

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

This phrase alone should be interpreted as an automatic admission of guilt.

3 years ago | Likes 157 Dislikes 0

Every. Single. Time.

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yup. You've got no defense for whatever happens next. It's premeditated as well imo cause you had the presence of mind to prevent evidence.

3 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

I don't understand why the fuck they have the option to turn them off

3 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Their union and lobbying efforts most likely. “What if I gotta use teh potty?”

3 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

There are legitimate reasons, like helping vulnerable people, when just canvasing the neighbourhood. but getting permission to do it (1/2)

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

should be an effort and if the reason doesn't match the situation later, then presumed as guilt. (2/2)

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I disagree. Your hypothetical case should still be recorded. If nothing of consequence happened, it will be purged per retention policy
