I definitely have designated baskets for each family member that holds their clean laundry...I'm not even ashamed...

That's just crazy talk and sets unrealistic expectations for adulting. *green with envy*

Then drink that bottle of Bourbon too fast and have to burp myself...

Shit, I have a load in the wash that has been sitting for a while. Thanks for the reminder @OP

This is a myth

Yea. But they weren't your clothes. And you whisper repeatedly "theforceiswithmeiamonewithaforce!theforceiswithmeiamonewithaforce!!"

what on that contraption makes it go back out?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have never managed this in my entire life!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All in the same day? I don't believe you. That's just not something that a human could do.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, but you didn't say 'neatly in the drawer to where the drawer closes all the way through'. That takes mastery.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did it!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm sure, there's another way to use it.

But did all the socks have a partner?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

hey, let's not get crazy now ; )

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't wash any socks. I cheated.

Impossible, at least one sock escapes to an alternate reality with every load of laundry.

put them away in the drawer ON THE SAME DAY?!?! TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!

Once, I did two loads, washed and folded, but they didn't get put away. I commend you

Bring the washing in keep it in the basket and have a spare for the next load of dirty clothes. Cycle as needed.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The simple way is to resort to a laundry chair, and designate that as 'put away'. It's how I rationalize it.

"Heap on the floor" is basically the same thing, right? Right?
