Probably for a con. Can't have strength to it, but I have a 60 lb recurve and it isn't too bad to just pull back.

I don't believe that for a second. You're still drawing 80 pounds with a compound, until you hit the easy part at full draw.

That's required for cosplay rules though, generally. The con I just went to said bows must not draw with enough force to fire an arrow.

What does that mean exactly? I mean, as long as it has bending limbs and a string, it will fire an arrow, just extremely lazily.
