But.. the price though...

Electrons Flow Through A Copper Wire Slower Than A Snail's Pace.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

What's the jerk ratio on that?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s true as long as they don’t make square pizza’s. But I guess then it would be pi IS squared. But I digest, seriously.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pizza math is my favorite math.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's why I tell them to cut my pizza in 4 slices. I could never eat 8 slices.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

am i the only one who read that with Chinese accent for no fucking reason what so ever ?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

calculating the area of a circle... this is next level genius math!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want more of these

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For those "why do I need algebra? I'll never use it" arguments with your child.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But this is geometry...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Still says nothing about thickness of dough and amount of toppings

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

We talking flat pizza or globe pizza?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doing gods work

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

EVERYBODY DESERVES TO KNOW ABOUT THIS

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have lost the desire to go on living.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But what about DTF?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can pour over 5 cans of beer into a frisbee.

8 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 0

this is why i like math.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Math is everything.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That 'a' was supposed to be an 'e'. Whoops.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you dissect the two 12" pizzas, combine them into a single 24", and have more than the 18"?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

2) But that 24" circle is faaaar from filled up.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You are wrong, the Pizza's measurement measures the width across the Pizza, set two 12 inch Pizza's side-by-side and it's now 24" across.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope. Area of 2x 12" pizzas = 226 sq in (from OP). Area of 24" pizza: π * 12^2 = 452 sq in.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool, thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The volume of a pizza is pizza, where z=radius and a=depth.

8 years ago | Likes 154 Dislikes 4

See the only thing that matters is the radius.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Alright, you get +1 for that formula

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Given a constant of “a” as a technical clause

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

Yay i love and tottaly understand math, a+b=2026492 see

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not to mention Papa John's simply stretches out the same amount of dough but thinner for larger pizzas.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ex-Shift Leader here for Papa Johns, NiggaSmith is correct. As the XL dough sits it rises, and is visibly much larger than a L dough.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wrong, xl dough-balls appear same size but are significantly denser than a large dough ball. (managed a pj xls come in trays of 6 lg in 8)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Jokes on you, this doesn't account for crust thickness. I worked at a pizza shop for a few summers and they use the same amount of dough.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 13

Wow, fucking awesome, dough, best shit in the world.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Awh man I don't know if this is misinformation or not

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Really? For both pizza sizes? My pizza place had different dough amounts for each size. Were the 18s way thinner?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ditto for papa ginos, for L and XL as well as M and S.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Domino's uses two sizes of dough, large is about twice as much as medium

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't eat pizza for the crust

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Fair enough

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Crust is just pizza's handle to hold it. I don't eat pizza crust.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

the bottom is crust too. technically...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

yeah I'm eating the pizza for the dough, definitely not the meat and cheese, maybes some peppers if I'm feeling fancy

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Then why not just eat meat n cheese and some peppers if you're feeling fancy?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 9

no one delivers fondue at 1am

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Fair enough

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

No jokes on me mate, one pizza shop doesn’t necessarily mean every pizza place in the whole world is tight

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 5

It certainly don't mean they don't eiva.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

user name is cancer, fits the bill

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I worked for 3 different pizza shops in high school and freshmen year of college. All used more dough for bigger pizzas

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Lotta the replys would counter your argument.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

The pizza hut near me does this. Annoying when I get an xl for a group and the slices can't even hold themselves up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Also, soooo much grease

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, but two 18 inch pizzas are MORE PIZZA than one 18 inch pizza

8 years ago | Likes 601 Dislikes 3

You must have used a calculator.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The math checks out

I just don't think that there is any science to back that up.

I've got crust issues.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Good point for the crust haters.

8 years ago | Likes 123 Dislikes 1

It's a circle, there's no points.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

An area is made of infinite points

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good point for the crust lovers.

8 years ago | Likes 189 Dislikes 2

I like the crust, but I'm here for the toppings.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a circle, there's no corners.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

In St. Louis we have corners. Best part of an Imos pizza

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who said there were corners.... I'm confused.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Points... When two sides intersect, they make a point.. Eh, oh well. They can't all be gems.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It pleases me that the complementary "Good point for the crust haters" is an Android and this one is an iPhone.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hmm? I'm not following. I posted from my iPhone. Where did Android come into the picture?

Do those exist?

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 15

Sometimes if they use garlic butter on them. And roast them just right. The crusts can be delicious.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some crust is terrible. I eat it anyways

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are DOZENS OF US!!!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stuffed Crust is the shit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hell yes.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Crust is my favorite part of the pizza. Chewy, not crunchy.

8 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 9

There's a chew/crunch equilibrium I like best, but hardly ever find it. First bite crunch, then chewy from then on

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

The right crust with the right dipping sauce, 'specially with garlic-butter infused dough
