Northern BC has the same shit going down. Pipes froze but can't figure out where. No water since Dec 7. I'm so done with life.

9 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ottawa is at the same latitude as France and Italy. I've lived in Kirkenes (northern Norway), and it doesn't get that much colder (1/2)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

than what you guys have in Ottawa right now. Gotta love the Gulf Stream. (2/2)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's between -35 and -40 in NB with the wind chill. Once it gets to -30 I don't notice a difference anymore -32 or -40 it's just effin cold.

9 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

I miss NB. We had 2 blizzards here in Newfoundland today

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live in Freddy Beach and I work outside. Today has sucked. Thank fuck for Timmy's.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Also in Fredericton. It was ok bundled up but would have sucked staying out in it. You are a brave soul.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

NB members meeting is now in session, Saint John checking in, lol. Seriously tho it was cold as a witches titty today.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

First time since I moved to Alberta that NB is as cold as Northen AB

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I find at about -35 is where you get an ice cream headache from breathing.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm coming home to Fredericton today!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Welcome home!

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

-29F = -34C :)

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Thanks for real.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

-14.8F

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know who she is, but run to her.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Every 5C is 9F. Then just remember a few handy points: -40C = -40F, 0C = 32F, 10C = 50F, 20C = 68F = room temperature. -26C is about 15 1/

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

higher than -40C, so about 27F higher than -40F. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Siri - what's -26 Celsius in Fahrenheit?

Hi from Orleans

Hah so am I

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

same here! well, when im not at uni

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Living in Sydney people moan when it gets to 10°C can't imagine doing day to day in -30°C without going full Antarctic gear.

9 years ago | Likes 239 Dislikes 0

I've been in -60 with winds of 120....also the winds had been at -60.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

I'm in Sydney Australia -- I was a little concerned when you were talking about 10°C; it's been 35°C the past week ish.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can you convert this to freedom units?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 7

0C = 32F, -10C = 14F, -20C = -4F, -30C = -22F, -40C=-40F

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Minus 36°C with the wind chill this week. I'm wearing long underwear beneath my suit and no one is the wiser.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

wear 2 pears of pants.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've adapted to feel fine in the cold but still gear up for longer exposure do to wind burn and my skin drying up.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When it first hits 10C in Canada, we're like "You should grab a sweater, its cold out" but when it thaws we're like "+5 TSHIRT WEATHER!"

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Holy shit it's above 0! Better break out the patio furniture and have a BBQ!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As an american. Uhhhhhhhhhh????

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

As a fellow American, I'm assuming anywhere between 0°F and 32°F

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Google is your friend.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have friends in northern Maine and Canada. They had -40F with windchill today...FAHRENHEIT!!! The inside doorknobs froze...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not like you spend the whole day outside though. Well, some people do. Lots of homeless people die. :( But the majority of people /1

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

are just going to/from work. /2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

-10C in norway is: put on a jacket and close the zip

9 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

I'm okay being in freezer rooms just with long pants and a thickish shirt but actual weather with humidity and windchill is a beast.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If it's not too windy, that's fine. It's really the wind that gets ya.

9 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

and god beware snow gets into your boots and starts melting

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That's why I wear tall boots!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yesterday it was as cold as it on Mars here in Southern Ontario! Gotta love that wind chill.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Niagara Falls here... 6° F right now.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahahaha yep! I live in S Ont too!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same. You could freeze the balls off a brass monkey in Toronto. Took two hours to get 5 kilometres.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Anywhere near 22°C time to wrap my body up with good layers of long sleeves shirt and jacket

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where are you from?! In my area that is pleasant t-shirt and shorts weather.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Borneo :) and yes to t-shirt and shorts everyday, default fashion choices

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay that makes sense then why 22C is cold! I live in northern U.S. so only a couple months of the year are consistently above 22C.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hahahah what? Really? That's beach weather!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Considering our normal daily temperature is around 30-35°C, yeah! Most people here wearing jacket to counter the sun light anyway

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People wear jackets when it's 30-35? Ugh, that must be brutal! I understand the sun protection angle, but still!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its more convinient that way and we're used to it here. I'll get mild sunburn after 30 minutes exposure :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah totally beach weather to a Brit.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would love brits beaches then!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's the temperature range in GB?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't pay much attention, but I recall it getting up to 27° in summer. Lowest recently has been 0°. But others may have a better answer.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also depends on region though. I'm Midlands, so it's mild enough most of the time.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where I live it'll get around 10°F in winter and upwards of 100°F with high humidity in summer

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh man. Weather there sounds like it's pretty easy on you year round.
