I watched this movie just last week. Part of my annual "Watch Home Alone 2 with the wife during Christmas, and then Tim Curry's performance makes me want to watch Clue later" tradition.
Madeline insisted on this scene, but the director didn't want any ad-lib moments for fear of the rest of the cast breaking character and ruining a take. Curry and the rest of the cast convinced him to let her do one take and they all kept a straight face while she did this improv moment. When the director yelled cut everyone, cast and crew roared with laughter and it was agreed the scene had to stay in.
Either It or Rocky Horror. I saw both on cable, back in the day, but as I was young, not sure which I saw first. Then I saw him clue and wanted to find anything with him in it lol.
